drooping and discolored leaves

I am in the 4th week of Aerogarden grow. Here is a pics of my set-up. I started with 7 plants and have settled on the best 3. Sadly, my best plant has developed issues as you can see from the pics.
My PH is at 5.3 and the room temp is 82F. my nutes are Flora Nova Grow 7-4-10 (1 tsp/gal).

Any thoughts on my "hurting" plant ? I would suspect nute burn or ph, but why only one plant? I did spray with insecticide once to get rid of gnats. Do you think i may have blasted this one plant?

what is your water temp at? have you checked the roots? almost looks like root rot
Regarding the roots what should I look for? There is a big root ball under each plant. When i've changed the res ech week I would break the AG down. I thought that may be disturbing the roots. I'll check the water temp and get a pic of the roots on this thread tomorrow AM.

Not 100% if this is the cause but your pH has to come up in the high 6 range for soil and not sure about aerogardens. It would keep a lot of the nutes from getting into the plant but I'm not sure about the spray you used.

I would check the roots, you are looking for slimey gross looking roots.. not white and healthy.. if the roots are ok..
Your ph is way too low. Go for 5.8 as your ph. This allows all the nutes to be used by the plant without anything getting locked out. What you have kinda looks like mag. dificiency. Certainly at ph of 5.3 that's getting locked out. Ph your water to 5.8, and add 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of epson salt to your water.. this will help the yellowing, which could also be a nitrogen dif. With proper nutes, and the right ph, your plants will sort themselves out.
Hope that helps a little.

Your roots should be white and fluffy looking. the more yellow/brown they turn the closer they are to dead. You will also notice that when they turn color they will really stink! you need to have your res temp under 75 (i think) or else you will get root rot. Throw some ice in your res if you have to.

I appreciate your advice. The roots appear to be ok. However, my ph has dropped to 4.8. At first i thought the ph meter was off, but after several re-cals I am starting to trust its readings. My res temp is at 76F. Could a higher res temp cause my ph to drop. My water was around 6 before I added nutes and filled the res. Its kind of strange that two plants are ok and the one seems to be suffereing. Any thoughts?

Some plants are more reiliant than others.. other than that, no reason why you see the difference between them. Your ph can fluctuate from the nutes that your plants take in.. but yes temp does affect readings too.. my ph testor adjusts for temp so I don't know what the range is that it effects it by.
6 is too high for your res. 5.8 is perfect as then no nutes get locked out... I know there is a chart for it in the FAQ's but I'm too lazy to post a link, sorry, but I'm a lazy stoner. Maybe Luda will be around he's awesome for posting links.. too much work for me, but that's why he's Luda, and I'm just some dude that you may or not remember from one thread or another... ;) hope I helped man... sorry if I didn't.
