Drooping after one day??

This is my first atempt at this and I'm off to a bad start. I just bought 4 plants from the dispensory and planted them in soil yesterday. This morning they One is drooping badly and on another the leaves are curling up and turning yellow. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

need more info soil lights temp all that stuff one thing i see you should have done is add perlite to your soil dosent look like there is any

Well I'm very new to this so I"m not sure what "all that stuff" is. The soil was taken from a planter that I have been using to grow tomotoes in for several years. I'm using a 600w MH light, the light has a dimmer switch which I have set to 50%. The temp is 80F. When I put them in the soil I watered them with RO water with no nutes. I used just enough water to cause a little run off.

turn your light back up!!! use those lumens!!! but get some ventilation first. get some new soil, or look into some fertz. the soil that you have been growing in for several years, well...... those tomatoes have DRAINED that soil of nutrients. know what, screw that, buy new soil like NOW!!! and do some reading!!! search this site like crazy!!! you can get some Miracle Gro soil, not the "best" but it has fertz in it, so it is good for beginners, kinda fool proof if you will. but if you want those plants to not go to waste, then get new soil NOW!!!!

RESEARCH is the number 1 usefull thing i could tell you as im sure many others on here will agree. If you dont know what 'all that stuff' is then u defo need to find out. For anyone to attempt to diagnose your plants problems we will need to know as much info as you have! like LONGARMS said, you need to turn the light all the way back up and ensure that the light is not burning your plant... this is easy, put your hand on the top of the plant with the palm of your hand, if it is burning your hand then its burning the plant. Ganja plants love light!! give them as much of it as you can! so turn it all the way back up and blast them with beams. If you havnt already, get a fan or 2 on the go to keep them nice and cool. Having a fan moving the plants slightly is also good as it immitates the feeling of beeing out in the fields in the heart of jamacia!! lol. Hope this help !! GW

DUDE!!!
You're trying to grow plants that could end up saving you 100's if not more in a few months.
Why not shell out 20 bucks or less for some nice fresh soil?
Why are you robbing your plants of available light?
Better light, better soil= better buds at the end.

The clone thats dropping... Not sure here, can't see many of the leaves as they're upside down.

BUT

The other plants look like they are in the beginning states of PH lockout.

Tomatoes grow well in slightly acidic soil. So if you're using soil that tomatoes grew well in you probably need to use some PH down.

Did you ever flush those pots with clean water prior to the tomato harvest? (recommended to flush salt built up from the nutrients)

Here is what you need to do:

Go buy a PH kit from your local gardening store ($10)

1. Test the water you're feeding the plants with the PH Tester that comes with the kit
- Note the PH of your water. My tap water is 8.0 by default- not good for plants. I PH down to about 6.0
2. Take a soil sample from each pot, test it with the PH Tester. (best to test with pre-PH'd water at 6.0 so you can measure what the change is + or - )
- Note the soil PH. If PH of soil is HIGH, as I suspect, then you need to get 2-3 gallons of water per pot that has been PH'd to 6.0 and flush those pots. Putting 2-3 gallons of PH'd water at 6.0 through the pots will help bring down the PH of the soil to 6.0

If this issue is PH related it will right itself within 24-72 hours with noticeable results within 24 hours. After you square away the PH give the girls time to recover (2-3 days) and proceed with a light feeding. If the plants take the light feeding well then you're good to go and start feeding normally.

What kind of ventilation do you have in there? I recommend an inline far for the 600

Do you have a circulating fan? I also recommend one of these- small one will suffice, just keep the air moving! plants need moving air across leaves , also makes the stems strong so they can support the weight of buds. The last thing you want is plants falling over under the weight of buds in your final weeks- sounds fun but isnt!

That looks exactly like Nitrogen toxicity. I just had it a few days ago lol so i am familiar with all the symptoms, but it was a simple mistake in measurement. I do it all the time.

What happens with my leaves when i overfeed is they turn a solid darker green
and they feel dry and papery on top. They get the get the same charring on
the leaves (those patches), and the tops yellow.

All i do is flush. When i did the runnoff from the flush was yellow so a good
flush was in order anyway.

Things look better and the tops are look greener in 24-48 hours.

The burnt tips are an obvious give away.

Also, are your providing micronutrient supliments while using RO water? not that it would cause a problem in 1 day if you aren't but
it is needed.
