I have no problem with them using every means necessary to help avoid another terrorist attack. If we use our heads, and don't push the boundry of the State law, then what's the real risk for us. I loved the killing of that POS American terrorist with a drone. Screw him and his terrorist buddies. The law enforcement has been using helicopters to look for growers for years. This really is no different. As far as terrorists are concerned, whack em' and stack em'.
A helicopter found well over a thousand plants growing on State land in Gladwin County two years ago, 3/4 of a mile from my deer camp area. It was run by the Mexican mafia, and the growers were living righ there....most of them were caught red handed running through the woods....they used FLIR to find them...by by boys. Not one of them came here legally. Just working the site to pay for their entry into the States.
The more of this we can stop, the more of the street brick weed our kids are buying is gone. I can't even imagain what they were using to keep bugs and animals away, and what kind of nutes, and the piles of trash they just left spread all over the place. My friend who ownes the place we hunt checked out the place while hunting Grouse (sp?), and he spent hours putting the garbage into bags and trucking it out.....the Feds just left it.
I say lets get rid of the dirt bags, and do it right without the bad guys!
