14 will be fine. Those drivers have some headroom over the rated voltage and should run 15 of those strips, maybe 16.so in this case 14 ? wow that should make a nice spread over 70cm 28"
The generation number is only used by some manufactures like Bridgelux and Samsung. For Bridgelux it's not on the strip, and one needs to look up the part number in the datasheet or other places.How can you tell what generation strips are?
