drip system set ups

Hi All, I am struggling to determine how to set up a drip system to automate watering two 15gal smart pots. there are a lot of resources and kits online, but i am just getting confused on how to run a set up with proper pressure. many kits online come with 1/4 inch lines and different spray nozzles, others come with a 1/2 inch feeder line that you plug 1/4 inch lines into. But then drip timing and distribution becomes a concern, unless i make a ring with multiple tiny holes in the 1/4 inch line? do you leave these systems dripping for multiple hours at a time as some are rated at 1gal/hr?

If anybody has any pictures of what they've set up, or a bill of materials on what to buy (pressure regulators? backflow regulator? drip or spray nozzles?) that would be greatly appreciated

one thing I do know is that ill be buying a programmable faucet timer off amazon to start

Cheers!

Take a look at floraflex

A couple matrix tops (you need the under lay too)
Res, pump , timer , 1/4 turn valve .
1/4” line

Google the drip store, I believe it's dripirrigation, com. And CALL them. I forgot the guy's name, but he's super helpful. I suggest getting a manifold with drip stakes, with the 1gph inserts for the manifold. Set the entire thing up on a timer and you'll be fully automated. You can do this all for under $50 or so, and the added benefit of having someone on the phone telling you what parts to order is very helpful.

And you can also get plugs for the manifold, so if you only want to run a couple lines and block off the rest, you insert a plug in the manifold to block the port.
