Hello all,
I recently had some bad experiences with DWC:cry:, mainly becouse of high res temps of around 70-85F:cry:. If ANYONE WHO HAS EXPERIENCE WITH DRIP SYSTEMS WITH ROCKWOOL SLABS ONLY (OR WHO KNOWS WHAT THERE TALKING ABOUT) please help. I need to know if the res temp in a drip system using rockwool slabs can be higher than the regular 60-68F range since unlike DWC the roots are not sitting in the water/nutes:-? but growing in the rockwool instead. So If anyone can answer please help me out.
Thanks

Well the problem with the temps being high is the algae. The higher the temp the better conditions are for the growth of algae is the res.

Can the high temp in the res couse root rot on my plants in the rockwool slab?
Thanks for the reply.
