Someone asked me if there was an advantage (I could think of) that a Drip Irrigation system had over a flood bed?
This affects me since Im at the half way point of deciding which way to go with this bed. Oddly, I have all the parts for either (see pics). This is for a clone and veg area.
The only answer I could think of (which made sense to me; but ultimately im taking out of my bum--cuz I don't know forsure)
Was less res changes...after all you are using less nutes. Which might mean you could even op for a smaller rez if you were doing bi-weekly res changes.
I quickly changed the topic to avoid intrusive questions.
anyways...
Still i was wondering?
Was this true? Seemed to make sense (at the time)?
If not then there must be some advantages to a drip irrigation system...I mean isn't that what commercial produce growers use still? Or no?
