Drip Feed Hydro

Greetings all. Apologies for the double post (I've asked this in the new members thread also) but I thought I should actually post the question in the appropriate forum:

When using a drip hydro system should the water be dripping straight onto the rockwool or should I avoid watering directly onto the Rockwool altogether? I figure since the Rockwool retains so much moisture, I could be in danger of root rot. Any pointers??

I feed the drippers to the outside of the rockwool into the hydroton...its a good thing to keep the rockwool moist tho...

direct the flow of the drip to the root zone around the perimeter of the rockwool...Good luck...
