I'm not sure how long you can supercrop the branches. but my plan is to flower the BD and my Spyder completely horizontal.
I'll see how it works for the Spyder first. but basically i am just going to wait for the calyx development to get intense and
then just tie all the buds down flat with the top of the plant. can't say for sure what she'll do but i can sure hope for the best.
lol..... I'll be LSTing and Super cropping most of what i got going and plan to have going. And leave some to just grow.
mainly just because i need to save some space with the amount of plants i have right now.
34+ cuttings and got another 4 seeds in plugs w/ popped tails. 3 blueberry yum yum and a kerala x skunk.

I am done germing for a little while. A friend of mine is needing clones so i have some leaving to increase my space for more clones from other strains.

Within a few more weeks i should be able to clone my Cotton Candy and Blue Thai. not taking a lot off them but just a few of each to flower and one to keep in veg. Gonna have one of almost everything saved for the next grow. and I may have a bunch more strains to run for the next grow as well....

I'm hitting that like button like its a frickin g spot, lol. Props man I gotta throw you some rep you could be straight supplying a dispensary with all those strains, lol.

I'm into my first grow; I ordered blue dream, sour diesel #2, og kush, and Bubba kush (hso) and then ordered a g-13 labs white widow. I ordered mostly from hso BC I had to have that blue dream, and they (attitudes) "supposedly" had a "promotion" and I was supposed to get 2 train wreck seeds for ordering 5 from hso. I even called to make sure they had them BC when I emailed to make sure they just said "we will run the promotion as long as supplies last". When I called, they said the same thing. They still had the promotion up on the website so I went ahead and ordered and of course, didn't get the train wreck seeds. Even after a hateful email they left the promotion up for like a month.

I also got a critical x ss haze and a northern lights x skunk #1 freebie from them. I only started the white widow, Bubba kush, and northern lights BC I wasn't as afraid of fucking them up. But I want the blue dream, sour d, and critical ss haze to be gorgeous, lol. I started 8 bag seed with the 3 I ordered and all 8 turned out to be females.

I thought about ordering just like 2 five packs from them to try and get good phenos to clone, but in the end I decided id rather have variety my first time around. Try and learn how the different stains do and whatnot.

But yeah man, I have a plant that I tied (the whole thing) down when it was little, and its worked out really well too. I wound up standing it back up, and it fits perfectly in the corner of my tent BC all of the branches are on one side from being tied down.

I'm loving just learning how the plants behave as they grow and shit. I've got high hopes for my sativas (bd, SD and crit. Ss haze). I just hope my blue dream winds up looking as good as yours lol.

I also lucked up with my og (BC its a low yielder) and got 5 tops from fimming it. I've topped two of them one more time so it has seven now, but I'd like to kind of mainline/scrog it to try and increase yield. I'm interested to see what a sativa pheno grows like; I'm sure I'm gonna wind up tying the shit out of them to keep them down when I start them (I had better at least get some hybrid phenos from the 3 sativa beans, lol)

I'm dying to start clones; I've tried to get a few going a couple of different ways with little success, but I had to convert my veg room into flower so I don't really have the light for them right now.

I'm thinking of just giving in and buying like an 8 site cloner to put in my closet with some CFLs.

The Blue Dream you see here is a clone from my last one.
I also ran SD#2 myself and let me tell you. AMAZING. It runs about 2-3 weeks longer than the BD but it's top quality smoke.
It'll dominate any other scent in your grow unless you are right on top of the individual plants. lol...
My whole house smelled like SD#2 from about week 4 flowering till they were done.

Both are heavy yielders.
I use FloraNectar to increase the flavor and smell of all my strains.
I have Pineapple Rush, Fruit n' Fusion, and Blueberry Dream is on the way(ebay is the only place to find BB Dream FloraNectar right now)......

As for the dispensary comment... I'm mainly doing this to learn. Eventually i would like to move to a LEGAL state and get a job doing this. I want the knowledge first, and the experience. I love growing. Mainly because i have never found anything i was really GOOD at doing until i started growing REAL seeds.(not bag seeds).

I've got so much going on right now that it can get a little stressful. but that's what weed is for right? lol

Cloner's work but cost too much for me to want them. I had NO luck cloning before this grow. i had just that 1 blue dream last out of 50+ clones taken from 4 strains(Sd#2 BD Royal Kush and GrapeGum.) i finally got the right dome and bought some Rapid Rooter plugs and now i have roots in 7-10 days from all cutting. on my second set now and all are surviving. I think one of the earlier ones is dying. i just gave her a little water today to see if she will take root in the container i put her in.(I think i may have snapped the roots off the main stalk when i planted her, she kinda twisted a bit when i was packing in the Soilless)......

To clarify.
I am not gifting to anyone from RIU.

It is legal in my state for one licensed caregiver to GIVE clones to another.

Sorry for the confusion. Not looking to get in trouble and banned from RIU for not following the rules.


My friend is NOT a member of RIU. He is simply a caregiver/patient who lives near me and needs help getting back into growing.

BEECH- if this is not good enough and you think i should just simply remove that part of the post let me know please. Thank you for informing me, I don't wanna lose my RIU.. lol :)

Awesome man, I got a feeling of giggity giggity gig it tee when you were talking about that sour diesel. I can't wait!! Im a huge sour d fan. My first seed order I wanted to get some classics, see if I wind up with any keeper phenos but now I'm wanting to try some of this shit that's really popular, that has never been in my isolated (bud wise especially) neck of the woods, like critical kush and c99, liberty haze, Skywalker og... The list of strains I want goes on..

I've been trying to clone with miracle grow rooting powder. I have one that might be rooting, but its hard to tell BC its the first one that I just dipped in the powder and stuck into dirt. I'm afraid to pull it out to check for roots so I give it a gentle twist, today it wouldn't spin so hopefully it took, lol. Its been in the dirt a week now and is still green so we'll see. I'm totally gonna have to check and see if those rooter plugs are at my local grow store.

I can't wait to start my next run. That's awesome to know the blue dream and sour diesel are awesome yielders, they're two of my favorite strains. I also can't wait to see what that critical x ss haze is capable of. I also just got an ak 47 bag seed and a pineapple kush bag seed so I have five for my next run. If I wind up with good phebos and have my cloning down by then, then I would love to keep them as mothers.

Thanks for your insight man, beat of luck to your future bud endeavors. Whether I make a living off of it or not, I am going to keep growing the rest of my life. Its my bliss. I haven't been as excited over anything as I have since I stuck these seeds into some dirt. Even if I wind up working shit jobs the rest of my life, I know i can look forward to a future of happiness taking care of my girls (my girlfriend [soon to be fiancé] and our daughter) and my girls (the sweet, sweet cheeba ones)

Should have 3 Blueberry Yum Yum sprouts by the time i wake up.... the K x S hasn't popped yet, but i'll give her a couple more days before i chalk it up as a loss.

Doing the math i WON'T have all these plants in the tent when it comes time for flowering. I have 6 auto's; 3 solo unsexed, 1 female, 2 male.
The Cocoa Puffs(x2) are both reg so 50/50 on that if i am lucky i'll get 1 or 2 female. Or I may get none at all.
White 88 G13/Hashplant(x3) are reg also. so again it's a toss up on how many will be there for flower.
I'm getting rid of like 3 Blue Dream clones tomorrow. leaving 3 in the tent and 8 still rooting.

I believe ALL the seeds i just popped are REG as well.
Original Blueberry(x1)
Sour Blueberry(x1)
GDP(x1)
Supreme Delight(x1, lost one to a "miscrack"- cracked up the edge and then across a part of the casing causing the taproot to sever upon opening..:()
and Blueberry Yum Yum(x3)

So that's
6 auto
12 regular unsexed seedlings/sprouts/rooting seeds
3 clones gone.
By the time I can flower i will be down a minimum of 9 plants.

So, I've decided I will only take a couple cuttings of each female for my next grow and one of each female for the CS. that 1 cutting of each will be rooted and thrown in the closet for it's transformation to male. and then once i have what i need trashed.

I want a maximum 36 plants flowering, that should be plenty with the space i have available. everything will be in a MINIMUM of 3 gallon container(grow bags or pots), Super Cropped or LST's(besides a couple random ones if i need the extra room for the other ones that spread out WIDE like the BD.)


Anyways, that's the update for now.... I'll get some pictures all the small ones later on.

For sure Sativa dom. took 3 weeks longer than he other 3 i had going at the same time. TOTAL flower= approx. 12 weeks.
with a 2 month veg she was about 30" going in and almost 48" when she was done.
Had alot of netting up but had to remove it when i moved.

Taste was mixed between the standard Diesel taste and had a hint of Pineapple from the FloraNectar i used (Pineapple Rush)...

Sadly i lost about 20 cuttings and was NOT able to keep her around in this grow.

Diesel will come back to my garden soon enough ;) just gotta get through these strains and figure out if they are ALL what i want to keep or if i am going to just simply run them straight through without cuttings.

Still have not ordered the new AUTO beans i wanted. it'll be pointless for now since they will not be going anywhere until this garden is done. So the money is being saved for another time. :) and new toys. ;)

That's awesome man, you have your grown about where I want it. Where I live, you are lucky to be smoking something with a name at all. I'd rather have 10 different strains with traits I like (I love a clean, energetic high most of the time but when its time to go night night I love a nice couch lock) than to have 100 plants of just one really good strain.

Were looking for a new place to move to; hopefully something out in the country where I can grow to my hearts desire :). I'm really hoping to model what you've got going on with the different strains.
I wanna be one of those guys who can say, "yeah, that plant right there, its a lost strain, I've been running cuttings from it since 2013" lol. I've got Bubba kush, but its not pre-98. Its still the best plant I've got going.

Did all your sprouts come up?

BTW rosey, if you're still viewing this thread I wound up getting 5 tops from that og kush that the bug dimmed for me. Its about 5 inches tall now and has 14 tops (just made 4 cuts, so 8 of the tops are teeny tiny). Haven't been giving them much recovery time, cutting at every new node lol. I'm gonna top each one once more and then let her grow.

just to save myself some room for the 8 clones that should be rooted any day now.

I have been sitting here for 25 minutes with a razor and pack of solo cups cutting holes into the bottoms lol.

I'll snap a quick pic with my webcam once i'm done........

The Kerala x Skunk is just about there. still in the casing but the tap is now rooted very well...... :)

Check back in a little bit for a few pictures.

dude when you really think about it, growing indoors, as we do... Is a job, just like in the totally legal market when you think about prices and how much time you actually spend tending, etc... It's not like you spend 10 mins and gain 1 million dollars... media makes this shit out to be a gold mine, sure it can be, so is corn... someone has to do the leg work, thats what it comes down to. IF your willing to work... :)

The way I have been looking at growing since I started a few years back.......
Once the country legalized marijuana. taxes and sells it in store....
I'll have the experience to find work in the field.

You can only really make back what you put in when you grow for patients.
unless you're a scumbag CG who cares nothing about the patients and only about the money.

I have yet to make a profit growing. I've spent more on this grow for the reason of I need to have a steady supply.

I can't answer my phone anymore and be like "no sorry hun, wont have anything for another 8 weeks or so..."... I feel like an asshole when I have to do that.

So no more Mr. Little guy........ I SHOULD be able to supply my patients throughout my next grow and,
as long as I don't smoke too much of it maybe a little further than that.

And my main reason for the selection.... MY LOCAL DISPENSARIES HAVE NEXT TO NOTHING... 6 strains available in herb or wax. that's about it...............
there are a few more that aren't out on display but that's because they don't look all that good.

How can a dispensary force a patient to sign away a CG spot, and not offer them what they are looking for??

And another thing I can't seem to figure out is.
How the strains they DO have.... are not ALL good. only 1 strain above 15%THC and next to nothing for a CBD selection.
they are all equally shit.
