another thing you can do is to call the electric company and ask when the readers are coming out to your area,i think they read once every 2-3 months.If you know when they are coming have your set up ready and do a run a couple days after the meter is read.That gives you 2-3 months before they even know how much power you are using,when you are done get everything out and make it look like a normal room(get rid of all growing equipment on your property.do this once a year and you could do pretty good.if you did 10 lights once a year,thats roughly 15 pounds a year!30 plus grand aint too bad.

stealing power is easy for them to find simply by measuring at 2 points on their line, so thats a big no. basicly figure for every bedroom in your house you can add a 1000 watt lamp, 2 bedroom=2 1000 watt lamps without any eyebrows being raised at all, as long as you pay your bill and dont go nuts with the lights the power company is selling more power and making more money so they are not going to rat you out as long as your not going wild, i mean just think if you added a hot tub, that would raise your bill a ton and nobody would come knocking

bro I live in a 1 bedroom apartment and I run around 2500w for my grow, not counting my normal everyday stuff like com, t.V........my bill runs 160$ month. Been doing it for a year, my power company seems fine with it, just had to up my deposit because of the increased use, I have never heard of someone being busted fro the power company, every time I have seen it was because the person was stealing LARGE amounts of power
