So here is my setup. Any suggestions would be great.

Lower area/Vegging area: 2ft wide x 4ft long x 2ft high
Upper Area/Flowering Area: 2ft wide x 4ft long x 6ft high
All is lined with white and black poly

Lights:
-Flowering Section: 600W Electronic Ballast w\ 600W HPS Grow Light
-Veg Section: Sun Blaster T5HO 39W 6400K Florescent (also have 3 surface mount lights with Y splitter, will eventually put these in with some grow CFL)

Ventilation:
-6" entrance hole at the bottom left side
-8" square vent on the right side separating the floors(roof vent which blocks light from between rooms)
-Sun Hood Light Reflector with vent input output which will have a (on order) 6" Inline Duct Exhaust Fan w\ 2' Carbon Filter Scrubber @ 440CFM
-6" Vent into Garage Attic

If possible switch your set up to have flowering on bottom and veg on top.

if not its no big deal but your flowering room tends to be heavier and in bigger pots. also the heat from the top of the flowering would be good for clones/veg.

And id go with a small 4-6 inch booster fan to cool the lower part instead of the hole just because water/light leak.

Other than that everything looks good.

What strain/nutes do you plan to run??

I should have checked the design before hand, not possible to move the veg room. There is a seedlings heat mat at the bottom of the veg room. Also currently in the hood there is a booster fan. I could easily move it around to the bottom after i get the actual inline fan installed.

For the plants currently i started off with some Auto Blue Pyramids. I picked them because i was going to do outside grows this year, but decided on the indoor cabinet. I will be probably trying Hawaiian Snow, Bubblelicious and a few other canibus cup winners.

As for Nutes i heard of this canadian guy that produces some. https://www.jakesfertilizer.com/products/granular/

Nice sounds like youve got everything covered. Those nutes look pretty good and decently priced.

Never heard of em before but let me know how they work!

So im about a week away from finishing these girls up, then drying and curing. Ill post the wieght of each plant before (if i buy a scale by then) and after they are cured. The on on the left was pretty retarded before it even started the flower cycle, and she got worse. Didnt produce much by the looks of her. The other on the other hand looks amazing.

The producer of auto blue pyramid said it takes 60-68 from germ to harvest, i am now at 78 days. i took one plant down around the 12th and the other delayed, smaller plant is still not ready.

The better plants harvest weighed:
wet, with stems: 256g
dried for 5days, and curred for 5 with most stems removed: 51.6g

Ill post an update once I take the smaller one down.

heres some pics:

nice looking grow dude, reminds me of my first, keep at it and you'll do better the next time around. I dig your journal btw. I'm a professional engineer and like to document all of my projects in a similar manner ( mostly to learn from my own mistakes) not a whole lot of folks on riu get into the science behind the grow and I appreciate the specific stats you give.

Well I took the second one down a while back figured I should update. The cure process took a while, and in the end it was running too slow, so I over dried. I dont remember the wet weight, but dried I got about 38g.

Over all I am very impressed. The smoke is on par, and the stone is pretty wicked. Definitely a mind high. Not the smelliest stench, but its got some to it. If it helps the gf wasn't impressed when I was curing it, very time I opened the lid she said it smelled gross. To me it smelled heavenly.

i definitely would grow this again, especially outside. You could start it early and it would easily be finished before fall. I'd say the time frame on the harvest was pretty early as suggested by the manufacturer. I'd say total could be 3.5-4months total.
perhaps next year would be worth a gorilla grow.
