Whats happening riu!
I have started my first grow, going all organic for the flavour nothing beats the fresh smooth taste of well grown organics. with that in mind I went out and bought a couple bags of pro-mix gardening soil with compost, a bag of worm compost, blood and bone meal used half a cup of each, 2 bags of perlite and added that all to the garden mixed it well and let it sit for a couple weeks, during the final week I watered with a molasses/eggshell concoction (1 tbsp molasses, 1 tbsp powdered eggshells per 1g water) watering with plain water in between. After doing a lot of research I trust that adding molasses will increase the micro-organism activity which in turn will provide the soil with beneficial nutrients, and that eggshells help with ph and has nutrients in it (I dont have a ph tester yet but just got paid and plan on buying one tomorrow).
As of right now I have 5 bagseeds that have came above ground and another 6 that haven't sprouted yet. Before I planted them in pots I germinated in paper towel method for 3 days after which only about half showed root but planted them all regardless. 3 are still on their 2nd pair of leaves the other 2 are just starting to show the 2nd pair. Some seeds came from good bud others not so good and I didn't mark them so I do not know the strains or genetics. I've been watering them every other watering with half a tbsp molasses per gallon water. I'd love to hear your organic fertilizers, seedling to flower, or any other products that would be of my benefit to purchase pest control to getting fat dense buds to producing female plants (you get the point)Keep in mind I'm a newbie and all tips/pointers will be greatly appreciated and probably used so PLEASE be talking about experience and not just something you have read. Searching forums regularly for the past 4 years has taught me a lot of people lie or say stuff they don't know as fact just for higher post count if you are one of these people please leave and go spam someone elses post there is no need for you here.
With that in mind I'm in the middle of ordering some autoflowering strains off a trusted dealer, they seem very reliable and they are giving me 4 freebies, all feminised and 3 autoflowering. I'm only planting the autoflowering ones with my bagseed I'll save the other for next grow. Will I be able to get some mature buds they will only have till sometime october?
Will post pictures weekly starting tomorrow possibly even the next day because I'm away, feel free to ask any questions and share your knowledge.
