Dr Greenthumbs Original Cheese (Exodus Cut) medical journal

Greetings,

This will be a test run of Dr Greenthumbs Original Cheese (Exodus Cut). I’ve already started 2 of them and as of this morning, both had broken dirt.

They will be run in Pro-mix soil starting in 1 gal pots (after seedling stage) and finishing in 5 gal Lowes buckets. I will be popping the rest of them as I go but for medical reasons, I have to keep my plant count in check.
They are now under T5 lights and will go under 1- 250 MH after a week or so. They will then flower under 1-600HPS and 2-400HPS hung vertically. (Along with other plants)

Ok, so here’s the sticky part
.
I know this strain can be controversial in and of itself. And, I know Dr Greenthumb journals are no stranger to controversy themselves.
But…what I’m hoping for is a non-mud slinging, honest, assessment of this strain, both from Cheese “experts” and from those of us, like myself, who have never grown the Cheese before.
I will make every effort to post good pictures and non biased reports. I will tell you how it smells, any issues or problems I have with it, and give a very no frills smoke report at the end.
Over the years, I’ve sampled a few strains that were said to be Cheese. But, I have no idea if it was the real deal or not, so I have nothing to really judge by myself.
So, I’m inviting all the Cheese experts from RIU to please join in (everyone else too). Let’s keep it clean and see what comes out of the soil.
Here is a picture of Dr Greenthumbs Exodus Cheese…………

well I can add this. I know for a fact that doc got the U.K. Cheese cut from a mutual friend in Manchester

Was thinkin about this strain. $200 for 5 beans for us non-testers. Don't mind dropping the cash in good genetics. I've grown out 4-5 of Doc's strains. Good luck with the grow! I'll be following.

I have a couple of cheese seeds myself. Dont rhink the same gen, got it from a friend. Def would like to see this one to the end. Gl and hapy growing.

After about 5 days they are now in cups.

Please take a look at the picture of the leaf only. Those rust spots seem to appear on everything i pop these days but then soon grows out of it....any ideas what causes this?

They have started to grow out of the problems they were having but the damage is done. Plant 1 took the worst of it and i still dont have it figured out.

One good thing is they showed sex at the 30 day mark and pistils are starting to shoot out.

After doing some research on Exodus Cheese I see that one of the traits it has is the double serrated leaves......Ive seen other plants have this too but the Cheese from the Doc definitely have it.

Don't mind if I stay and watch mate.

Welcome!

Just in time as they are starting to recover from the problems ive been having in the garden. It shouldnt be long and they will be going into the flower room. I transplanted them into 5 gal lowes buckets yesterday and will let them put on some height before flipping.

I think I have the problem figured out but i dont want to jinx myself so i will test it out before making a final decision.

i took clones and put the 2 cheese plants into the flower room last night.....getting ready for the magic!
