Looking good.do you dry in a cardboard box?

I do dry in a cardboard box for lack of anything better. I hang them but i also have screens at the bottom to lay smaller buds on. What do you use...or for that matter what does everyone use to dry? Im always looking for better ideas.

Well, compliments from a great grower like you Dr.Gruber, that means a lot !
I never even thought about hitting it with a smaller feeding after the first harvest, id be a little scared too also.
I think im gonna start to do my Harvest pictures like yours. I can remember before i ever started growing, i used to just stare at the Dr.G porn thread, mainly your Sour Diesel pics, im still in love with those pictures.

I just asked a couple drying room questions in my journal, hopefully i get some good answers. An unstable drying area can be pretty scary.
Really curious about this Oh!Zone too. I know i have a little gem just waiting for me in my veg room, still cant wait to get that in flower. Porc had said the cut i have is the Most Potent he has smoked... that alone wowed me.. he also said it took him a week to get used to it. Maybe we could compare a little once i get her finished off ( maybe summer time )

It depends on the time of year but Im usually around 55%rh in that box.
If you hadnt started growing yet at the time of the SD pics....Wow,,,you came along way fast!!!!
I'd love to meet up and compare...let me know how things go.

Yep...both plant 1 and 2 had alot of PH problems. Plant 3 which is still coming along had some issues as well...not nearly as bad though. I forgot to take pictures of it.
Plant 2 will be coming down in a couple days...its not going to be much at all. While it does look frosty its thin and whispy....might make hash out of it.
P3 has much tighter buds with much more frost as well.

Hey Everyone,
You may have noticed that my journals aren’t up to my old standards as of late, not as much detail and I usually only post up a few words and a picture. Not only that, but my garden has been suffering as well due to all the distractions in my life.
I have been dealing with a lot of personal/health issues with my family and I just haven’t had the time or energy to keep my end of the bargain …so I’m going to take a break from journaling for awhile. That means I will not be finishing up the Dope journal and the OH Zone journal will be put on hold for a while also.
I’m going to take a month or two and focus on my family and getting my garden back on track, and not worry about writing everything down, taking pictures, posting every week, and answering PM’s.
I emailed Doc about it and he was very understanding and told me to take my time and let him know when I was ready to come back. If he didn’t have that attitude, I would have had to continue my journals even though my heart and energy are not in it right now.
It was such a relief to have Doc be cool about it and I feel like a weight has been lifted off my back…Thanks Doc!
I want my journals to get better and better each time I do one and as of late, I feel like I’m going backwards…so it time to take a break. I realized after making this decision that I have had a journal running for 2 years straight and I need a little breather.
I will still lurk around and check in from time to time and I will post up a final report on the OH Zone when the 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] plant finishes and they all dry and cure up, but it will be a month or so before I do that.
I may also give a brief report on The Dope in a couple months when it’s finished but I won’t be doing weekly reports for a while.

The OH Zone is potent,energetic with a heavy sleepy finish. The big plant yeilded 10oz's and the small wispy one was the most potent. Taste is strong pinesol type with other stuff mixed in. The pinesol taste was so srong at first it was strange but i soon grew to like it. The same for my other taste testers.
Only problem is out of the three seeds I popped I didnt really get my keeper. The big one was too tall and not as potant. The small one was potent but didnt yeild, etc,etc.
I will pop more in the future because Im sure i will end up missing it after my supply is gone, which will be soon.
Sounds great man! Can't wait till mine finishes! Overall what would you rate it? A? B? Is it possible to post some dry nug shots?? Would love to see some before you finish up what you have left...

I waited too long and didnt take pictures and now I only have this one bud left so I took a few shots to give a slight idea of how these looked.
Very strong energetic high and the taste is a very strong pinesol type flavor,one of the strongest flavors in my garden...in the future I will pop more of these to find a keeper.

do you mean a smoke report on the Oh Zone?
i didnt finish this journal but on page 11 at the bottom there is a very small description of my findings at the time. I plan to write one up based on this latest plant im running. When i originally did this journal i didnt find the "keeper" i was looking for but by the looks of this one i have now found it.
