This is what i use for fertilizer, top dressed onto roots organic original soil, i've had very succesful grows using these dummy-proof nutrients, i have not used this very schedule yet (because i just found it), but something similar. Extremely cheap and easy, it's maybe $2 worth of fertilizer per 5gal for the whole grow cycle

veg: 4-6-3
early bloom: 4-4-4
late bloom: 3-9-4

I'm not sure how potassium (K) works, but it doesn't look like there is a lot and i'm only saying that because i have something that could resemble a K deficiency in my current grow, anyone else uses dr earth fertilizers?

I was watching Mr. Canucks Grow on YouTube and his method seems straight forward, coco or living soil, worm casting, and Gaia 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 then top feed when needed and straight water.

I was going to give this a try but I can't get Gaia without paying insane shipping prices. The closest I can find is Dr Earth 4-4-4 and 3-9-4 and was searching to see if I can substitute these.

Confirm it isn't lockout first, some plants can definitely be heavy feeders but you don't want to add more unless you are certain you need it. I use Langbienite on occasion for those heavy feeders/big soil beds.

All feed schedules should be used as templates and not a "one size fits all" so to speak. I top dress every 2 weeks until just before flower, but sometimes you'll have heavy feeders that will like being top dressed weekly.

Not sure why Dr. Earth is recommending the 4-6-3 for veg, I use that for flower. Seems Dr. Earth thinks cannabis grows similar to that of vegetables, cannabis will not start blooming until triggered (as we all know) so there's no need for a 4-6-3 for vegging cannabis. Great for veggies, but 4-6-3 is better suited for flower.

I use a 5-3-3 mix and Neem Meal (6-1-2) for veg. The 4-4-4 will also work good for veg, if combined with Neem.

I don't like having my "P" higher than an 8, if possible. Why I love the 4-6-3 so much, its very light, so although you do have to top dress more frequently with it there is also a significantly lower risk of excess P in your soil.

All that being said, I do like Dr Earth's products a lot and highly recommend them to every and anyone. All the best.
