Down to half the fish

No, there needs to be a huge depopulating event. Sort of a fourth trimester abortion of people of little value. Hillary would probably happily lead it.

Just think of the natural wonderland that would spring up in the wake of such a cleansing!

Dude I'm 50. I've lived a very experienced life. I've been all over this beautiful America many times. I've done cray shit people wouldn't believe I did. I mean, I have lived a long and very satisfying life chock full of adventures. You young bitches just need to get the fuck out of the house and go do shit. You sit and play on your phones and computers or gaming consoles all the time. You read a lot of shit in the media(I do too), and you don't understand that much of it is to bring a little drama in your boring life because you have no excitement. Cause you ain't living bro. Go skip a rock in the lake or river. Go to the park and watch the squirrels play. Feed the ducks. There is still under explored area in the world. Peeps evolve to survive and under almost any conditions. Look around at the happy people. Just because you ain't happy doesn't mean everyone else should be unhappy with you. Have a good one bro. Peace and love always!

The Oceans will be full of jellyfish in a hundred years.

But we just dug another pond on some family property. Make sure we have fish when we need em.

Private 50 year old pond not fished in 35 years. ....catch and release. View attachment 3517913View attachment 3517914

Please don't make fun of my jaundice or my messed up grill. Thanks.
Are those man titties in the second photo? o_O

I'm pretty sure the EPA says it's illegal to dig a pond.

Fifty! It's time for you to take a long, dirt-nap and make room for the next generation.

So, more of a directed cleansing. The problem with a pandemic is that "you" might end up in the pan.
Bill Gates gave a speech at a TED talk, discussing "directed cleansing", or rather stop providing care to overpopulated countries in need of healthcare. Some of his points were logical and made sense, but I still have a hard time grasping the idea that we simply let people die off.

That being said, I think if people, as an entirety, become more ecologically conscious; small improvements will be made in very short periods of time. The Earth is resilient, but not impervious.

Totally agree. People happen. We'll be the downfall of this world, no doubt. No matter how many people fight for good causes though there will always be a majority that don't.
A very sad truth indeed. Maybe what we need is a couple nuclear silos to be opened up and a half dozen warheads launched. That would trim the population nicely, in a humane way of course. (Except for those in the fallout range)

For sure. Countries will be allowed to fight for their cause, to offer a bid for their survival. Representatives (executioners) from each country will be chosen to make the final selection. The losers will not know when their last days are, but the bombs will be dropped swiftly and without an opportunity to appeal the decision.

Or perhaps, those countries that have less impact on the Earth's detriment will be spared. Those countries that have high impact will need to either drastically change in a very short period of time, or trim its population as a percentage of their impact on Earth.

Unfortunately for China and Japan, much of their population would cease to exist. The United States would not be far behind.

For example, research in Cape Cod has shown that overfishing (recreational, not commercial) of certain species such as striped bass has led to the collapse of coastal salt marshes. The predatory fish (e.g. striped bass) and crabs popular with anglers were the only thing keeping herbivore species in check, and their decline accelerated the pace at which the marsh vegetation was consumed. This is all the more significant because the marsh itself is an important nursery habitat for many species, including the predatory ones.

Snow ball, domino, butterfly; whatever you want to call it, humans will be the ultimate demise of humans.

Can we react now and make a change? Are we ultimately doomed? Is this another Al Gore hoax, meant to artificially inflate the fish market? Is this Obama's fault? Hillary's emails from Benghazi has killed all the fish?

How sad it is that one needed research to state the obvious,...Who got the check ???

Everyone buy a fishing license. Donate to private fish and game clubs. Donate to your state fish and game.

Here in KY the fish and game do a really good job of keeping lakes and streams stocked with fish. They even have programs to stock local and private waters for free.

More of this needs to happen. I gladly eat what I catch.

Well that explains all the accidents with chain saws and shotguns. Perhaps we should all chip in and buy the material and make you a suit out of bubble wrap. :bigjoint:

Edit. Just joshing bro. I like Ky I think it's a beautiful state.
Anyone that wants is welcome. We will hunt, hike, fish. Maybe blow something up. I know some very beautiful spots that the public don't know about.

I might just take you up on that someday bro. Like in the spring or summer tho. I hike and fish. Not too far away, but would have to be at least overnight depending on whether your north or south KY.
