Or between beer o'clock and when the fresh beaver tails are done baking at 16:20 - in Canadian time. :lol:
 
I plan on buying some Jack The Ripper seeds in hopes of finding the THCv phenotype, maybe cross ace seeds Malawi(thcv pheno) or the Golden Tiger(thcv) pheno. Also interested in the Golden Tiger's potential for high cbg/cbga phenotypes which are shown to be better than cbd for certain medicinal uses(antiviral/bacterial attributes).

African sativas are the place to look for Thcv and CBG in inbred lines.

I've never bred a plant before. When searching through the plants you've grown, how do you know which plant has the most thcv?
 
I have heard that tony green pine tar gush has high thcv levels in it. Maybe worth checking out.

ACE Ethiopian is high in THCV. I've grown it and really liked it. It's not a high THC strain but if you're looking for THCV it's another place to start.

You have to smoke them, they usually have a more serene, calming kind of effect, music sounds better, aches and pains/inflammation is less noticeable, it also doesn't stimulate appetite despite increasing metabolism, since its not psycho-active it likely doesn't produce munchies. Thcv usually has greater influence in combination with other cannabinoids, isolated it's non-psychoactive, but in combination with thc it is supposed to help with visual acuity, nerve pain, inflammation and its supposed to increase metabolism, energy. The science is still being researched regarding its interactions with other cannabinoids. Cbg has a lot of characteristics in common with thcv, the nerve and inflammation related relief, the zero-psychoactivity unless in combination with thc.

Anyone ever try Garden of Greens' Doug's Varin? I'm currently growing it but next to the Malawi it looks more like an Indica, not a Sativa. Granted, the Malawi stretch is intense.

I've heard mixed opinions on Garden of Greens before so I'm a little skeptical of this actually being a true Doug's Varin. I also juiced the shit out of these with too much cal/mag a month ago so who knows what I've done to the THCV content...

i would stay far away from Garden of Greens imo, hoku seed co has some nice thcv crosses.
