Here’s some progressive photos of this run. Had a couple difficulties right at flip but found my meters needed calibration.

This run Ive got some Gelato #33 and Dosido in 1 gallon square pots in coco, I’m feeding everyday until I get a good amount of run off. Right now I’m hitting them with 1600 ppm and 1000ppm of c02 in the room while cycling fresh air in every 4 hours.

I have two trays of 2x4 botanicare trays I pulled outa storage with waste irrigation.

I had a dripper system running but I wasn’t happy with the coverage of water I was getting. So here I am hand watering with a pump and water wand lol

For lighting they’re under a 1k air cooled HPS.

No AC needed as it’s quite cold at night and the HPS keeps me right at 75-80 degrees F.

Dehumidifier is plumbed to drain into my left tray which is quite convienent.

As for nutes I’m running:
canna A/B coco ( full line minus PK 13/14 )
Advanced Nutrients Carboload
Great White
Kool Bloom
GH Diamond Nectar
GH Floralicious
MOAB

I’ll try and snap a few photos right before the lights hit peak power next time.

Just realized I only have a couple weeks left in my flower cycle, a little bummed with the size of things as of now I’m hoping they will pack on some size at the end here’s to hoping and upping the P K a lil bit and getting ready for a 7 day flush.

Anyone have opinions on flushing and using flushing agents? I always used straight water but I’m open to some new tactics and shortening the duration.

Happy growing

Just an opinion, but it looks like more than a couple of weeks left. Still plenty of fluffy white pistils. Lights, temps, rH etc. will make plants deviate from a "by the week" schedule. That might be why you aren't seeing the weight you want yet. I think they are "younger" than you think.

I use "Sledgehammer" for flushing, but that's just because it came with the set of nutes I got - not a preference, just an option.

Regardless, it looks nice and frosty.

Heading out of town and I’m a little bummed tbh. I’ll be back Sunday but I’m hoping my co2 doesn’t run out while I’m gone.

Peace!

95DEBA94-C11B-46D9-80A2-8EED53E3B9C5.jpeg I came back to a pretty nice smell, not too stoked on the size as I mentioned but my buddy who runs gelato religiously says it’s not the highest yielding strains. I would have to agree.

Looks like I’m going to do a room rebuild this summer and skip the AC bill. THis will be the last cycle in this layout.

Here’s some photos from tonight.

I checked the trichomes and they’re still clear and a touch milky, I’ll take this week to flush and then chop em down this weekend ideally.

Looks great. Im growing a gelato hybrid currently, sucks to hear it’s not a good yielder.

Just make sure you take a good sampling of trichome checks. Don't just check the tippy-tops. Once you harvest them, the rest goes with it.

Thanks for all the responses guys, I noticed the first little bit of swelling start to happen. Some nice new calyxes forming, I’m hoping for a 1lb and some change.

The bud formation is even overall and I can’t complain I guess I’m used to heavier yielding strains. This is the first time I’ve ran something that isn’t a “top producer”

I forgot to mention I hit them with another dose of nutes this evening hoping I can squeeze another week of flower out and chop next week.

Here’s to hoping

Larry Bird and Dosido both arnt good yielders. Both VERY good smoke though. Don't cut them down just because there supposed to be done. You may miss the last swell. It's all about the trichomes.
Yeah big fan of both, finally taking the time to run them.

Never chop before the swell :)

I have this pretty handy usb microscope I can plug into my computer. I’ll share the photos when I chop down.

Here’s some photos from the last run of my own cross.

I just use a cheap Canon. Put it on macro, then take several pictures. On at least one you can find a spot to zoom in on and see real well. From this:

There was some serious stank coming from my room this morning. The swell is currently happening, things are bulking, fingers crossed!

Flushing has begun. Going to chop down Sunday morning and spend all day trimming it while it’s fresh.
