Yeah, the bags are a little pricy but well worth it. This year I think about 1/2 the hash I make I'm gonna butane it. I think I paid about 400 for a mini washer and 4 or 5 bags w/shipping from Vancouver.



I think you can get the bags for about or a little under 200. I haven't heard anything good about the cheapy knock offs.

I'm definitely up for making hash. Hell fdd made it look easy!

I'm all up for 'cherry picking' the top buds & 'hashing' everything else. Less trimming time!:-P

I think you'll soon see a new washing machine sitting in my garage.

All of my other med patients agreed that hash is as good as bud, so it looks like I'll be making lots of it. Heck, it beats trimming buds.

Anybody ever try these?

Unloading the soil & stacking it down in the basement is like working in a mine!

Those 15 gal containers get 'Hungry' they eat this stuff like it was dirt!:o

I use a 50/50 of OF/HF.

Meanwhile, out in the greenhouse.......Sunrise services.

You can see the different ages to these Gen1 plants. The ones one the right are at 5 weeks of flower & have 3 or 4 to go.

The ones on the left are just showing flowers.

The last ones are just to show what is happening to those flowers. Did somebody say hash?:blsmoke:

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna take the risk. They look like they should work great. I hope they do, good luck!

I still like that 35gal trash can w/5gal in the lid idea for draining. I see another trip to Home Depot in my future!

Thank you, I'll take more bud pic's today, but for now an update.

Happy news! Gen2 has given birth to Gen3! I fell like passing out cigars!

Also, Gen2 has been transplanted into their new digg's, 15gal pots! Plenty of room in those to grow real big.

Gen2 will spend the next 4-8 weeks inside getting big, before they will be moved outside to flower.

As soon as gen3 takes root, they'll join gen2 in the grow room. I'll put them into the 3gal pots I just took their Mothers out of.

You leave all of those Leaves on there? No pun. I am just asking, as my little girl is developing breasts, and I was wondering about the leaves.
I have her outside, thinking about bringing her inside, as my Son is a Fucking Lunatic and has talked to his friends about Dads Money Tree. This from a guy who is 33 years old. The last one I had in my garage(different house) I put to sleep because he had too much traffic next door.
Sooooo- thought I might put'r away.

Yes, those bags look like should do the trick. I need to order those now!

I don't understand your leaf question, however I will say that I leave all green healthy leaves on the plant as long as possible. I only remove leaves when necessary (bugs, yellow, damaged,etc).

All damaged leaves should be removed, otherwise they stay on the plant.:leaf:

Sure, it gets just as hot here in Sac. The ends are 100% screen mesh, great ventilation. The breeze actually blows thru! I'll cover them w/plastic this Winter.

Well, I went to take more close-ups but most didn't come out good enough to post.

I did get a few good shots of that Giant Kush bud. Talk about stacking!

The top bud is so thick you can't get both hands around it. 15+inches & counting!:o

Starting to smell real good inside the greenhouse!8)

I'll keep posting pictures as it grows. And some better close-ups!:-P

Home Depot! I don't remember the price. About $30 I think. One roll does each end.

Don't forget the zipties! Get the long 14" ones, they'er easer to work with.

Hint: a common hole-punch puts a neet little hole thru the plastic sheet. Perfect for the zipties!

Also a 20' wide roll of 6mil plastic sheeting, fit's like it was made for the top & walls.

Nice grow bud.

I've been looking for someone with indoor and outdoor knowledge, as I'd like for someone to VERY briefly tell me how an outdoor sun compares to different types of artificial lighting. I'm new to learning about outdoor growing, as I have only grown indoor under cfls. I guess my question is, from your experience, how does the sun compare to indoor lighting as far as vegetative growth rate?

Thanks, I'm running 3000w of lights downstairs because it's all the heat I can easily dissipate. I could run 3k more & still not come close to the Sun!

You just can't duplicate the Sun!

Now you can get some really nice plants with lights but they'll grow bigger/faster outdoors.

What I'm trying to do here is overcome the lag time for growing large plants & flowering.

By having multiple Cali Med patients involved I can have several sets of plants growing simultaneously.

Keep watching this post. I hope to show how, they grow "Hothouse Tomatoes" year round.

I was thinking of doing this too after seeing FDDs setup. I have a question about attaching the plastic to the frame and attaching the plastic to plastic. Won't a hole punch hole just tear with thew wind. Any pics of these holes and zipties attachments? Im supprised you dont have heat problems in Sacto with how hot it it up there. THis may help my bud rot problem in keeping the moisture away from the tight buds. I have a Jack's Suprise that looks like your Kush plant. Big fat top cola. Like your greenhouse and your plants are growing very nicely in there. :blsmoke:

Cool, thanks for the advice. I've been torn between putting mine under 24 hour CFL's and trying to grow more structure before flowering, or leaving them outside on their own. They are 5 weeks old, but are only 6" tall. They were stunted early from heat issues, but have bounced back and seem to be thriving outdoors right now. I have until November for the first frost. Any suggestions? We're talking about 3 plants of unconfirmed sex bagseed here.

Not looking to hijack your thread here, but looking for some advice from a very impressive grower.
