lol.... I have room for 2 more so....I can get 2 new ones and learn from these. The best of both worlds.

While I don't have neighbors, obviously one side is open to my driveway, so that side would have fabric. Luckily it is the north side.
I'd leave the rest clear, I think. Whaddaya think?

There's other reason for the sunscreen, it's a good 'moth stopper' at night during flowering. Moths = worm eggs = Bud rot!....

During flowering I button everything up to keep butterfly's & moths out....

Closed day & night when flowering? Doesn't it get hot & humid? Am I missing installing fans and vents?

I mistook the mesh for plastic ... Now I see...you have plastic on the roof, where else is there plastic? On the side where you have neighbors?

Ok, go back & look at the picture one more time. Can you see how when the sun hits the mesh, it lights it up? I use the tan sunscreen because I'm trying to keep the carport as bright as possible inside. The tan, allows much more lite to pass thru. & you can't see thru it very well. you can see thru the dark mesh easier, imo...

I'll start looking for the fabric mesh...see through. Tan, beige.

Doublejj can you clarify a bit what you mean here for me. If he was to continue to let them grow wouldn't they flower and bud with the normal decrease in daylight, like most grown outdoors do? Why do you suggest he start over? I'm missing something….

Marijuana is naturally an annual plant. It sprouts from seedin the spring when days are getting longer, grows thru the summer until the days start getting shorter, that triggers the plant to flower attempting to reproduce, anticipating the end of life. If it's a male, it produces pollen. if female, buds.
What happened to Sam is that the plants were put outside too early in the season before the days were long enough & the little plants read the short daylength as fall-end of season, and tried to flower & reproduce. But the days finally got long enough to keep them in veg, too long of daylenght to produce flowers, so the plants are trying to reverse field once again, because the days are too long to flower. They are very confused. Usually buy the time they figure it out, it's too late. THey will continue to grow 1/2 flowers, 1/2 leaves, and the final buds will be leafy and prone to other issues, if they form buds at all. Some strans never pull out and just continue to grow like they are now, airy and no good buds....

Ahhh, I get it, very interesting. I have never heard of that happening. Strange, poor plants are all out of whack aren't they. I agree with you then, I would trash them, or butter or hash them maybe, and go get some new clones.

Seeds are more forgiving than clones, as they are not sexually mature for the first 6-7 weeks, they won't even try to flower. Clones however are usually taken from sexually mature plants, and are ready to flower immediately. If the days are short, clones will flower right away.

Yep, makes sense. Thats why I haven't had this issue, I grow from seeds. Vey good info to have nonetheless. Thanks.
