Double ScrOG? seems plausible!

SO I just got this idea for growers with very limited horizontal space. Instead of doing a ScrOG with one top screen you could stack screens. Kinda hard to explain at the moment but it's like grow a plant using the ScrOG method then once it fills out the first screen stack another about 10 inches on top of it. Then just add CFL's to the mid section so all the bud sites get light. maybe dumb but idk I'm tired and about to go to sleep. I'll start building something tomorrow...already have a sick idea using something from wal-mart that even a 5 year old could build. Pics whenever I get it done (prolly within 2 days). I'll try it and make a grow journal so it gets closure :D I want my freakin' seeds! Hear that Nirvana employees, hurry up!

EDIT: now that I think about it...why not triple, or even...QUADRUPLE! I think I should go to sleep now...

with CFLs you could probably set up side lighting between the screens, just put the bulbs so that they're long horizontal side faces the bud sides.

or use some sort've micro-lighting set up, and set up small 5-10W lights at various intervals on the screen... this would allow optimal lighting of all parts of the plant from all angles, but i think we're a few years away from that sort've light penetration idea. (as in, where would you get lights with good spectrum in the 5-10W range that also run cool... LEDs maybe? sooo pricey though...)

So we have a ScrOG apartment complex? :)

How would you get light to the inside middle of the screen?
yep, and for the side/middle lighting I'd just use like 2 light sockets with y-sockets in them so I'd have 4 lights for the middle. Then I'd add three CFL's on top and maybe a few fluorescent lights.

^yeah about that....It's gonna be awhile cause I have to take clones from my plants that I have growing now (still only about 3 weeks old). But it WILL happen! I already built my setup (will work well) but then I took it down once I realized it would be awhile before I got to use it.

you could totally penetrate the center using cfl's on splitters and in fact, I think you'd grow massive amounts of bud that way. Can't wait to see the pics man.

am i the only one that sees this as a fire hazzard from hell?
 I didn't know metal was flammable? lol just playin' but yeah it's not a fire hazard:mrgreen: I guess I can re-build the set-up tomorrow and take pics so others can start it since I can't do it for a month or so.

Finally posting pics:mrgreen: Even though I still have to wait for clones to use it:cry: And I really needed to flaten out all that mylar but hey, I wasn't using it when I took the pics so I wasn't concerned about it. Also I could probably fit 4 cfl's in that middle row even though I only have two in the pic, if I connected two y-sockets to each socket in the one main y-socket...thing.

joined corner:

Plants will enjoy a lot of space:

EDIT: the silver thing on the right is the pot I was going to use to house the gigantic plant, it's just covered...with foil.
