Double ended CMF

Just did a little searching and found this at Home Depot for $373. Sealed reflector. 2 year warranty on the ballast, 1 year on the bulb 3100k. Probably cheap but guaranteed for two years. I'm not even worried about about a warranty return at HD.

What do you think? I haven't heard much about double ended ceramic metal halides. Price seems reasonable.

The reason I ask is because I haven't been following lighting at all. I've been a diehard MH/HPS/T5 HO user. Never touched LED's or anything else. I'm old school. Haven't kept up. I'm trying to increase the lighting while increasing the power draw as little as possible. This is only for flower in a 4x4 tent. I know the lights I listed are cheap but it would be the one time I would use that in-house insurance they always try and get you to buy at Home Depot. So for another twenty bucks I would be guaranteed a replacement for the length of the manufacturers warranty directly from HD. If it went out I'd just put my 600 HPS back in while waiting for the replacement or just get a refund.

CMH rocks it. I ran the Retro 400 CMH until they were discontinued.
I haven't run any of the newer ones. But from what I've read the new 315 CMH rocks too. And it's worth spending a bit extra for a higher end model. It's all about the ballast driving them in order to get the most out of them.
The DE 630 is just two 315 arc tubes in one bulb. So two 315s would give a bigger footprint than a 630.
And most recommend vertical mounted bulbs rather than horizontal.
