I was thinking of soaking plant material in acetone for a couple of days, then straining it through a coffee filter into a double boiler. Has anyone tried to make hash this way? What temp should the water be at?:joint: When will I know it's done?

Acetone will leave the most rank taste to anything you use it for, if your that desperate get some 151 clear rum or some moonshine and just be very careful not so over fill or over heat.

damn people calm down! I just read that acetone extracts better then most other solvents. . . . . What about 99% isopropyl alcohol?

Hey dont get mad at the criticism. U ask we told. if you want to use acetone then go for it and when u get the results post ur comment ,and then we will calm down. But have a couple of extinguishers ready, and a mint cause ur breath is gonna stink.

use lighter gas and pass it through the weed collect in a bowl and just let it evaporate outside no need for heat wont be hash but very pure very clean oil and for fuck sake dont smoke near this i have seen it go up in one big cloud of flame
