Dose skunk weed smell green

I have only smoked 4 times and every time the weed smelled like a fresh green plant
I know for sure they weren't all the same strain and all of them where bought from a dispensary.
Allot of people say weed smells like skunks and I have never smelled a skunk before so is that what you mean by "skunk smell"
All my friend that smoked plenty before say weed smells weed like green plat.

Btw I am growing 2 bag seeds from a friend and they both also smell like green plant and they are only in the veg stage

I'm not sure what you mean by smells green. MJ strains have a WIDE range of aromas. Curing your weed properly can really help bring out the best aroma. The jar aroma and smoke aroma are often very different. Have fun and experiment.

Sounds like harvesting too early or messing up the dry and cure process.
Skunk weed should smell just like skunky weed lol. Real foul and offensive is what you should be getting from real deal skunk weed.

most smell green during veg. good ones will give off a funk during veg a little. the real stink comes in when they get crystally in flower and even then some are stronger than others.

i have road kill skunk and it smells like hot garbage and skunk asshole.

some times when cannabis is picked to soon it will smell grassy and also if not cured right or long enough it can smell grassy or hay like...its because the chlorophyl has not gassed of completely or as best it can...

You've never smelled skunk funny no shit I thought ery one smelled a skunk. I'm from the New England area and there's crazy skunk s around here .Where you from??
When your plants get to a later stage in flower the stink gets thick
If your lucky you'll be smelling skunk then

To smell green I think maybe you mean fresh undried weed?...or compost the worst, grow and dry your own so you may compare with that dispensary poo! then realize how much you have been ripped off!

Thx guys for the fast response. How can you tell you are smoking good weed, for example I heard good weed makes you cough real hard but when I a smoked I held it in my lungs for as long as I could but I wouldn't cough and I also did get high on the other hand my friends where completely stoned and there eyes where really red

i am from Israel/palatine call it whatever you will but know one here seems to have actually had good weed

That sucks over in the states good bud is all over.but real good bud is alot harder to find.that's why I grow it

I didn't think a dispensary would be selling premature buds. Good weed will not smell grassy or green as you say. How is that dispensary getting away with selling meds like that hmm.

Anyway, you'll know it's good when you smell it with no questions. It'll stink your whole car up even if it's just a gram. My car smells 24 hours after I take my weed out of the car lol
