Same thing happened to me, except mine was a whole plant of giant buds! Now, if I have to choose, I err on the dry side.

Those who live where it can be humid - avoid those strains described so well as having "hard dense nugs" or some such. Meaning most indicas or indica-heavy strains.

I started flowering about 8 weeks ago, and was just closing up the tent at night. Well, I realized the humidity was getting up to 90% at night and I asked here in the forum if 30% humidity during the day would keep the bud from getting moldy even if it went to 90% at night.

I got shouted down with a resounding NO! So I ordered a dehumidifier on Amazon (I'm in the northeast and the stores only have humidifiers right now). And now I suck the humidity out of the tent at night. I did not want to spend another $140, but I just thought if I fucked up now, I'd want to kill myself after all this work and expense.

I don't see any mold, or smell it. But I'm still worried I'll cut a bud open later and see it all gray and nasty.
