Don't wanna be no noob ☺

About to start growing with these materials using these directions. What else could be done better?

Area:
• 36 sqm
• 1 bedroom apartment
• 37th floor
• Medium sized windows
• 1 single cabinet
• Tropical country
Materials :
• 1 4x4 tent for the veg stage
• 2 4x8 tent for the flow stage
• Don't know how many lights needed if I use Platinum LED lights
• 10 pots for veg tent
• 20 pots for flow tents
• 3 carbon filters
• 3 fans for 3 tents
• 1 air purifier for the entire room
• 3 exhausts with tubings
Directions:
• Using DWC system
• Twice a day check up on ph level and temperature
• Air condition will be on 24/7
• 3-4 weeks in veg stage (18/6)
• 6-8 weeks in flow stage (12/12)
• Wet trimming

I don't know if you're a diy kinda person or not. But if you are. Building a kit of cobs would be better than those lights. I'm using Vero 29's for my light. But I've heard Citizen are pretty damn good too.

You want between 30-50 watts per square foot you wish to light.

Can't really advise you on the rest. I grow in small spaces with soil.

thanks a lot! I was thinking of something easier, due to my location i cant actually order things online so getting all those parts would be a real hassle (cob light)

What do you think the best LED light set up for a 4x8 Tent with DWC hydroponic system would be? I thought of getting 2 of the Advanced Platinum LED p1200 but some say its overkill. Is there anything i can get to replace that

I'm relatively new to growing. I can't really offer that much.

Lots of people say blurple (purple lights) is only good to veg with. But I've seen plenty of grows that look fine to me.

I'm using cobs for my grows. My main box has 3500k chips. Plenty of red to get through flower. And enough blue to keep them happy in vegetation stage.

Stay away from really cheap chinese lights. They're utter crap. And usually have some bullshit numbers on them about their performance rating.

Also. If taking pics of your plants. Use neutral white light. This way we can help with identifying issues better. Lights of any other color skew the image. And potentially any discoloration we would otherwise notice.

Whatever you choose for lighting, Nugachino have it right. Looks like you have really been planning and can afford to do it your way. Go fo 50 watts per sq ft or even higher, more lights the better.

Don't know how sound my maths are. But, I think you get a fair amount of space per plant.

Have you accounted for walkways?

I only tend two small cabinets (<2sq ft). But for larger tents like yours. You may not be able to reach the plants further back.

you only have 1-3 15amp breakers maybe one 20 if you have a washer/dryer.

you could run a 4x4 or something, I think you gonna have problems if you try 30 plants.

the 20 flowering plants are going to need at the least 1800watts(not light watts/wall watts) and that's at the low end.

20 flowering plants ideally would be 4000 watts. about 40 amps, and a 240 line for something that big.

Hey, guys. I'm migrating from grasscity, as dialogue there is spare and I'm a dope-growing neophyte looking for info. I've spend a good number of hours perusing websites, youtube channels, forums, etc looking for *credible resources, and haven't been able to find an exhaustive guide.

Here's a pic of my plant:

The issue presented initially in the inter-nodal spaces (discoloration, kinda rusty looking) and is mobile, moving upward. Newest growth has yet to be affected. I'm sympathetic to the idea that the Ocean Forest I'm using is too rich, and this is causing burn. Plant is maybe a month old (it's tiny; I know).

Here's also an image of a seedling I'm having trouble with:

This seedling was under 700w LED (Mars) in 3X3X7 tent along w maybe 25 other seedlings. It's in FF seed starter. Why are the cotyledons already drying up and dying? Why are the true leaves drying? Too hot in tent (maybe averages 79F). Is there any way to rectify this? It's happened to four of my seedlings now.

It's also important to note that, in my country, It's quasi-legal and having this many plants poses no real legal threat because the government is more concerned with not getting bombed into oblivion.

Thats one of the problems I was thinking of... IS there anyway to avoid this problem from happening? Is there something that I can buy to amplify the power?

you have to have a new line run, by a electrician; to your breaker box, which I dunno if you have access too.

I don't know of anyway to "amplify" your current apt grid? if someone knows post it.

you should try and find out, exactly what your sockets are rated at. because you still need to live there and run all those things too.
