Don't Forget To Flush

Ok, so I've been reading up on harvesting and hearing a lot about flushing. I've grown one plant last summer and it came out well, I harvested early and could've done so much better but it was my first time and I was happy got about 2 oz's out of one plant.

Anyhow, my real question is about flushing before harvesting, should you?

I've got three babies looking good in my very unprofessional opinion, to me they look like maybe a month to 6 weeks left but I'll put up some pics for you to decide.

Alright so the first 3 pics are my three different babies, the first is all green, white and orange hairs, the second plant's leaves and buds are turning more purple each day, and the third plant is green except the buds are turning quite purple on top and the 4th pic is just another of the 3rd plant.

So any comments or advice is always very welcomed thanks :D :leaf:

If you do not flush, your buds will taste pretty nasty, but benifit with nutes till the end.
I flush and then just use molases till harvest.

I'm done with flushing...I can't tell any difference. Since I quit fert's a week or so prior anyways (the plant doesn't require them at that point), no need.

out. :blsmoke:

sorry to ask a silly question but the search on this site doesn't ever help me find things out...
How much molasses do you use and is there a specific kind?

whats your weather like at night..looks like its cooler..you must have a purple strain..anyways..i would say yes its going to be best to flush before your harvest..and just plain water from then on out..you will be much happier in the end with the taste..also remember if you quit giving it water a few days before harvest..they will dry easier and have less water retention

So do a flush on all three and then wait till the soil is dry, sayyyy two inches deep? Then harvest?

I still want to try the molasses thing but I'm not sure how much I should mix in

When you flush, (2 weeks prior to harvest) Pour water in until it comes out fast at the bottom, wait 15 mins. That will allow the salts to be dissolved, then flush again to remove salts. Next watering use just Molases 2 tbls per gallon and then let her dry out just before harvest day and also the day you harvest do not let her have any light. That way she is dry and not uptaking anything left behind from flushing.
