Done?

Most MJ hybrids have a harvest window ranging from 2 wks (fast indicas) up to 6 wks (longer sativas).. some longer flowering sats actually having opening and closing harvest windows aka multiple harvest windows.

How many wks? What is the plant? What lighting are you using? I could make a guess..

Only u would know my brother!
Are the trics cloudy, clear,or amber? or a mix of all 3?
What strain u growing? And how many weeks?

extremely difficult to say without a close-up pic. Need to see the trichomes. Ideally you want them to be cloudy as possible..as opposed to clear..or if they go too far they will start to degrade and become brownish

Other than for a first grow or two, I've never understood this "trichomes must be ABC" stuff.

I'd say another week, doesn't look done to me. But the reality is harvest it whenever you like. Heck, harvest half now, half in a week, see which you prefer.

It is a bubba kush around 60 days from switch not when flowering actually started showing...

I have a loop but I think it's 40x and I have a hard time telling I'm in the process of buying a more intense loop...

When I've check it's had a mix of all three with more clear trichomes

Thanks for the input I appreciate it

It is very close, but I would give it, like racerboy71 said, another week or so and you will see what "done" is compared to where it is now. If you can't scope the trichs clearly, the overall appearance will darken and most of the hairs will darken a bit more and collapse back onto the bud. ( There will always be a few fresh hairs on a few newer flowers here and there, but that is normal)

When this has happened on about 85-90% of the surface of the bud, the trichs will start to go from cloudy to amber on the sugar leaf tips and edges, contributing to the "doneness" look of the flower. Hard to tell in a room with a HPS burning, so check with a more natural light source to see the true shade of the flower.

One other note. most, if not all plants have a staggered finish cycle ( for those that do not SCRoG). Take the "mains" as they finish and let the lower stuff have a bit more time. This pays off in better quality concentrate material for sure.

The " Harvest Time A Tutorial" thread by fdd2blk in the Harvest and Curing section, shows the very difference you need to look for.

Close, so very close.
