[Waterboarding] is "Minimal, minimal, minimal torture", according to Donald Trump, and he still endorses it..



To Trump supporters, how do you feel about your candidate supporting torturing POWs? How would you feel about some other nation we're at war with using the exact same justification to torture our American soldiers who became POWs?

Are you going to really sit here and say you support Trump doing it, but you would condemn anybody else doing it to us?

Please, explain yourselves

What a scary line of reasoning. This is the kind of thinking that got us the PATRIOT Act and Guantanamo Bay and started us down the most recent slippery slope involving privacy rights.

Even war has rules that have to be followed. Who decides where to draw the line?

I support torture as well, see there`s this Asian chick across the street, she wears the Daisy Duke cheek show and cut up belly shirts all the time. It`s fucking torture to have to only look. I wouldn`t tell her to stop.

The Geneva convention does NOT protect war criminals. This thread is stupid

In the videos, Trump repeatedly compares waterboarding and chopping off heads to make his point.

maybe we should torture folks then, obtain some false leads, waste time tracking them down, and then repeat the process once we realize that we were given false leads, which is all torture is good for.

we got all of our good information by bribing people with fake promises.

by the way, you like to call yourself a christian. what is the most christ-like part of torturing someone?

Your premise is wrong from the start. The US would never torture POWs and no one is advocating that we do. Enemy combatants are not POWs when they are captured.

When your premise is wrong your argument is void ab initio.

Everyone admits waterboarding is torture, even your hero Turnip

To what degree you personally believe it's torture is irrelevant. If you want to cry about ISIS torturing people, you don't get to then go and advocate torture yourself lest you want to look like an inconsistent fool
