It's kinda how Putin solves problems, no man, no problem. The civilized way is to metaphorically neuter them into irrelevancy and put them out to pasture to bray at the passing traffic, or put them in prison. Foxnews brings the bullshit, barnyard and zoo to the living rooms of fools though and they have an appetite for bullshit.

The how matters.

Have a dozen of them collide with the justice system in super slo-mo. Only way to get a useful long-term outcome imo.

Violent resolution fantasies, which around here often come from one source … they’re not good for those of us to whom civilization matters. More to the point, they do nothing for the underlying condition that needs smart attention.

while they may not be the original source of certain problems, they are the ones perpetuating those problems...get rid of the spreaders of lies, disinformation, and hateful spin, and you get rid of a large part of the problems. you get rid of the inflammatory agents causing unjustified unrest.
i've never seriously advocated killing any of them, but know what? i wouldn't lose a seconds sleep if someone else took out a whole gop convention, that featured appearances by magats and white supremacist. i would in fact go to sleep knowing the world was a much better place.

The problem with capitol punishment is if you have the capital, you don't get the punishment, besides far too many innocent people have been executed, many for being black. I wouldn't take it off the table completely, but only for the most heinous crimes where there is no doubt like video evidence and such, it should be a rare thing if it happens at all.

If Glenn is right about the trail date for the Georgia TV trial, Jack might very well have Donald convicted and in an orange jumpsuit on the federal documents and obstruction cases by the time his TV trial rolls around in Georgia!
