I am getting ready to start my first indoor grow. I have ? as what to get that is needed and is proven to work with quality. I did my first outdoor grow and it is getting ready to be harvested soon. I think i did a pretty good job outdoor but I am a complete novice when it comes to indoor. So I have a 18x18 room that i am going to use. I would like to keep 5-10 plants only on this grow unless it is better for me to start smaller being this is my first attempt. Any advice on what to get would be great.

I like to use car limo tent on windows cover with plywood. Then for you get a 1000w or 2 600 if you can. A few wall fans. Good soil and all the pot sizes you need. 1 gallon 2 gallon 5 gallon. If you don't need to hide the plant I wouldn't close it in with a tent or plastic. The airspace alone will help with heat. I would realy look at the 600s that would give you a 4x8 area to grow in. You will also need some good dry way anchors, eye hooks, some chain all from hardwhere store. Also get a good timer from the hydro store. Basic cheep timers mess up after time running lights. That should keep you in budget and 5-10 plants.

ok is there any specific brands that are of better quality that i should look at. I only want to buy once and cry once. I can and am very able at makeing my own stuff that would help cut cost. I am not afraid of the hiding them. it is not an issue. I guess I am trying to get a feel of everyone's idea of what works best and make a judgement on what i should buy

Are digital ballast worth the extra money? also is it better to have two 600 watt or 1 1000 watt for lights. Besides the obvious extra 200 watt. i am going to be spending money on twice the bulbs if i have two lights.

I like digital. And a 1000w will give you a footprint of 5x5 while 2 600w will give you 4x8. So that is the difference along with the 200w.
