Doing my first grow!

Hi guys, I'm currently in the process of starting my first grow, but my main issue is I have basically no knowledge in the ways and means to go about setting up my tent or how to approach my first grow, is anyone able to help guide me first of all in how I should have my tent setup? I will post pics of my fans and my tent and light because I don't know in which positions to have my fans or tubing or anything, cheers

Still missing a couple things.

  • Carbon filter
  • Nutrients
  • Growing medium
  • Plants
  • Ballast
  • Bulbs (you have one, looks like HPS?, need an MH)
  • pH meter
  • pH up & pH down
You have a good start, keep building your kit and I'm up for watching this.

High Pressure Sodium light is great for flowering, Metal Halide is what is used for vegetative phase.

The basic principal is use the small fan to create air movement in the tent and the inline fan to pull or push air over your light.

I have my carbon filter on my intake because I don't care about the cannabis smell but I do want to remove particulate from the air before it goes into my tent.

I have a thermometer in the tent and outside the tent so I can better understand what temperatures I need to control.

There's all sorts of ways to set up your tent so finding one that fits you is best.

You might want to set the tent up, let it run for a day and see where your temperatures are at.

Yep, Kalebaiden hit it right.

I prefer my fan/filter horizontal inside tent for stealth. Light directly beneath.
Grow mediums on base
Intake holes/vents on bottom to pull air up and back out.

Mine is a cab, not a tent. Just to give you a different look.
Love the cats. Can I see more of the air system up top? It looks compact and nice.

Adds character lol. Yeah, I can snap a few and post little later today. It's very tight, compact and exhausts out the side where I have a roofing vent to cover it. First build, I've since gotten a bigger cab where I vent out the top.
