Dog JUST chewed my bigger leaves off

Newbie in FL here. Have had a small plant going for a few months. Just noticed my dog ate my nicest looking leaves. I'm not hip to the lingo(I apologize and am trying to familiarize myself).

My plant has recently shown signs of budding(?) near the top.

Will she make it? Cut my losses now? Anything I can do to alleviate stress on the plant?

You'll still get something off her, but how much?

If will grow something back but you need to do something to keep animals from eating it. My dog loves to eat my plants if I don't watch him.
