Dog Ate Seedling

Ok, he didn't actually eat it, but got a hold of the pot it was in and dumped into the yard. I guess pot plants and bloodhounds dont mix. Anyways, the seedling is (or was) 3 days old. the root was exposed for probably 30 mins or less somewhat still covered in potting soil. I dug through the grass and found it and re planted it. There was no damage to the plant and the tap root was still in tact. What do you think my chances are for it to recover. It has showed no wilting and looks healthy still, for now.

Just an update if anyone cares. She seems to be doing fine will no ill affects.

You will probably be fine. I burnt one of my seedlings with very hard water all to hell, and after a flush and new soil, I'm finally seeing new growth again. And it was a bad burn.

yea, will survive for sure.
I had the same thing happen to me but I chased to dog with the pot in his mouth for five minutes the dirt good have been anywhere but I found it surprisingly fast. The seedling looked just like yours and it was fine
