Does This Look, Right?

This is my first autoflower grow, and things aren't quite what I expected. This little one is three weeks old. From what I've read and understand auto beans are done in 8 weeks. I'm not seeing this being done in another 5 weeks. I went with an 18/6 cycle (still got two photoperiods vegging). Does this look ok? Should I try a 20/4 cycle next time? Please any help would be great.

Are you sure they mean 8wks total? I thought 8 weeks was the flower time? They look great for 3weeks, but i dont buy the 5more either. I'd run the 18/6 till finish. I keep reading that over 18 doesnt do anything but hurt your light bill. Autoflowers are supposed to flower on 18/6 anyhow. Lets hope those dont finish in 5 weeks, or you'll be good to get a joint each. Sorry not much help, someone here has grown auto's, i however like to control height and cycles, so i dunno. looks alright so far 18/6 cycle should be used for quite awhile. its 8 weeks to flower and harvest. Your vegetative cycle should take 2-3-4 months. Took me 2 months to get where im at check out my blog. Also whats your light setup? soil? and what type of water are you using. I switched to rain water and noticed alot better difference.

how much did your dwarf yield?

So this the same diesel flower today after 9 weeks. She don't look like a huge yielder, but still a good learning expierence. How's she look now?

did you have that on a window sill??? how much light you got on that?

Nah got her in a closet using cfls. I got 2 105w ( 400w equivalent) and an 85w ( 350w equivalent).

they don't look so bad. I don't like diesel strains, cuz the smell like shit!

Nice flowers, but if that's Diesel Rider they should be 24-28 inches with a lot more branching, yielding about an ounce each (given proper conditions). That's what I got outside, and they took a good 10-12 weeks. Don't have enough experience for advanced troubleshooting, but is it possible your temps were high?
The one in the foreground is a DR.

And you're right, the autoflowers are a great learning experience.

I think it's lack of light, along with high temps. I'm thinking I need to add lights. None of my grows have been big yielders.

So here's an updated pic. this little girl gets better looking everyday. She's still showing signs of more flowers coming in too

Autos are small plants. They only take 10-11 weeks from seed to harvest. Photoperiods are always gonna be bigger because of their growth cycle. They have a veg cycle then a floweing cycle giving them more time to grow nice big and bushy. Autos mature a lot faster and start flowering sooner, not leaving a ton of time to grow.
