Does this look right for Day 16?

This is my first grow. I'm not sure how to evaluate:

1. The size, shape and total # of buds -- are these runty? Is this what I should expect for Day 16 of this flower? Is there anything I can do better?
2. The overall shape/pruning of this plant. I am aiming for a somewhat middle path: a healthy amount of leaves, without wanting to draw away too energy that could produce net better buds; definitely not lollipopped (but I can see now why people do it. . .grr); a little LST (lesson learned: I'll do it more aggressively, and earlier, next time.

The plant that i started flowering in my 2x2 kinda looks/looked like that. I think you're just lacking some light intensity to get good solid stacking, just my 2 cents. But for the most part yeah, looks on point for 16 days & also healthy.

You're in serious need of more light. DON'T defoliate any more. The poor things are struggling to photosynthesize. Should be looking at light that puts out around 40W / sqft of canopy if you want to grow quality buds.

Too much defoliation for flower. Plant can't regrow vegetation after it starts flowering and shifts away from vegetation. How, when, and where did you defoliate exactly? Probably could use more light. Other than that it looks pretty good for your first grow.

Nice, I would be fearful of not having enough foliage. I'm still figuring stuff out, anything and everything can be infinitely complex. I like the way like light colored pistils come in very pleasant photos.
