Does this bud looks good to you guys?

This is my first harvest and I recently dried some nugs off my lady and I was a little put off by how they looked. Mostly by the brownish/golden glossy look on some on the leaves/calyxs and a few dark spots on the stems. Is normal? Maybe bud rot? I have no clue. I haven't cured yet but that shouldn't make much difference right? It's from bag seed wasn't around any males and I did have to fight caterpillars the last month or so. Any comments would help thanks

Dried in my closet. Dont have a closet door so I put a dark sheet up to block the light and a box outside the close to circulate air.

1st pic looks awful, 2nd pic looks almost decent, 3rd pic not so good I'd check them under a loupe and see if all that brown shit (those areas that are completely brown) is actually mold. Or, do the buds just crumble apart? That's another sign of mold And if you smoke it and it tastes like an old gym sock It's most likely moldy

I've seen worse. The proof is in the pudding though, so light some up and see if it works. If it gets you high, I wouldn't worry about how it looks, unless you are selling. Good luck

Yeah I smoked some it got me pretty high. It smells very grassy I assume from not being cured? I'm not worried about how it looks just don't want to inhale excessive amounts of mold or rotten weed

Any more opinions?

Cook with it if you're worried about inhaling it.. and it doesn't look bad to me.. I've seen worse

Looks like outdoor that was grown in miracle grow or overnuted, not flushed and not cured. When you smoke it do the ashes in the bowl turn gray/white or do they stay black? Is it harsh?

Im just thinking it looks like a caterpillar was next to that bud left those nasty little webs .. oh ya it looks good but looks can be deceiving

looks ok to me i have seen far worse bud than that before

a little downtown brown action going on, but not the worst in the world.

Yeah the ash does turn white and it is kinda harsh not that bad though.

We used to call it "Brown Around Town". Back in the 80's the majority of the weed being sold was the brown- $300 to $700 per lb.
