Does this 11 Day Old Seedling look Healthy?

This is a 11 day old seedling that I got in a bag of sour diesel bud. I am using a lone 100w full spectrum cf in a standard house lamp w/shadel and keeping the seedling about 2-4 inches from the bulb. I am just using plain water from a fridge that is filtered. The soil is just some cheap stuff from a local grocery outlet. An oscillating fan is about 6 feet away on the lowest setting. This is my first grow. It seems to be tilting a little a the top and the first set of leaves after the cotys are drooping a bit. I could really use some feedback on if my baby girl is healthy or not.

on one hand, it's got a good healthy color and texture on it

on the other hand, it's too small for its age i think (this may be on account of the light), and it is droopy. it does look like something is wrong but i can't tell what. do you let the medium dry a bit before you water? or is it constantly wet?

I constantly water it with an eye dropper. Sometimes twice a day. How much water should I give her and how often? By the way thanks for taking a look and giving me your thhoughts.

sure. you can stop using the dropper now, or use it less often. I recommend working with a wet/dry cycle - watering thoroughly (till runoff), then letting dry out nicely then again. some people will recommend giving only little water every time just to keep it alive, this to encourage root growth. best way at this stage is to water from the bottom. but not too often, you're depriving your plant of oxygen.

Thanks for your help. I did not water it last night and I also put a little heating pad on low to dry off some of the water for a little while. since I have it under a regular lamp w/ lamp shade but a 100w full spectrum cfl to keep a little more light and heat in. I woke up this moening and she is looking alot less droopy. I just took a pic to compare the two. Thank you so much for your help.

nonsense... look how good the plant looks.

and dude, you're quite welcome. use a rooting complex to speed rooting up, so it can grow faster.

i don't really know the brands, they say that rhizotonic is really good... and per manufacturer's instructions, usually start with 2ml/l, build up to 5, every watering or other watering. no proof it actually works so far, but people do use it.

Lmfao Apparently its nonsense to put your plants in the same distance it took to burn your hand..

And your rooting complex comment is the same as me saying "oh dude make sure to let your plants dry off a good amount before you water to force the roots to grow more searching for water, so it can grow faster"

1. i never had my hand burned from a cfl at any more than an inch distance. not even a 100w (and his is actually 26w)
2. i actually said that myself. it's good advice. as for the root complex, i don't even know if actually does work. but they say...

1.I was giving him a rule of thumb that a lot of people surprisingly dont know. and you straight up said it was non sense, so I just called ya out on that, just to make sure YOU werent going to spread false info.

2. As for the rooting complex based on the way you posted, you made it sound adamant that it WILL help, but than later in other post you mention how your not sure.. I hear a lot of people are actually starting to practice what they know before they post it to prevent another case of inaccurate info from coming out.

i actually quite clearly stated that i don't know if it works (my exact words were "there's no proof"). you should read better before you point fingers, that's the second time now

and even if there's no proof of it, enough people SAY that it works for it to be reliable info.

it sounds like you are really bored and looking for some action... have fun dude, and no, you can't burn your plant with a cfl... unless they touch it.

I dont see where you stated there was no proof in the reply i have been commenting on

naa im just searching for good accurate PROVEN info, not just one opinion for me to agree on. You may have seen a lot of other people put out good reviews, (which Idk where, but I guess since you started in 2010 maybe you seen past other threads.

lol and you WOULD pull the 'bored' card on me.

CFLs dont feel hot when your hands are close, hence why they cant burn the plant. BUT I was giving the OP a life long rule of thumb that can apply to other lights that would save him from asking again in the future.

Give a man a fish.. feed him for a day. TEACH a man to fish, feed him for life.
