The plant is week 8-9 also I don't think their seed pods. Here a closer pic u can see 2 in the pic any one know what it is? Could it be maturing calyx? I been watching the plant and if I give it couple days white pistils come out of those things that u think look like seed pods.

I see a banana in the middle pointing left and up, looks like another directly right of it. Hopefully they popped out late enough not to have seeded any of the bud?????

I wouldn't chop it but I'm no expert. I would wait til the white pistils at the top turn brown. All the trichomes look clear right now. you will want amber trichomes for smoking. its not like the end of the world if your buds have seeds.
This is my math:
Amber Trichomes on bud + seeds in bud > Clear trichomes on bud + no seeds in bud
I hope most others would agree with me.
Mature vs Immature, I would take mature every time.

Only thing is I only have one tent and 3 other plants with this plant.i don't mind waiting till its finish just worried about the other plants. Will me leaving it their effect the other plants? Will the others hermi?

The others won't hermie but if they are of correct age to seed that could definitely happen. What do the trichs look like?

It could possibly seed the others if you leave it. Its up to you. But when a plant is forced to make seeds, it spends less energy making the resin in the trichomes.

I don't think thats really a hermie. A lot of plants do that at the end of flower. I don't remember ever having any seeds because of it. If you had full pollen sacs everywhere its a different story. You could pull them off with a pair of tweezers if you're worried about it, but i wouldn't chop it early.

If it happens early enough in a tent with fans, you can get a fuck load of crap seeds lol.

You just need to inspect them a couple times each day for male flowers. Just one mature male flower will give you seeds on all 4 of your plants! Especially if you have a fan blowing! Just keep a close eye on them and pluck off male flowers as soon as you see them. You will be good until finish.

So this is 7 days later and she did start to hermi plucking seeds when I see them. 80 percent of the plant has orange hairs. should I wait another week or just wait till all the hairs are orange before harvest? Plant has really nice sweet smell.

shes done. main way to tell when they are done is the pistils. the "hairs" as they say. More about their movement rather then colour. When the pistils have receded into the bud and there are only a few shorts hairs left then thats the time to chop. For the most part they look receded and clumped into the flower areas. And also they are mostly brown. time to chop.
