Does Rain Lower the Potency of Marijuana?

Here's my 2 cents if anyone cares... I'm a grower in the Portland/Vancouver area for some time now both outdoors and indoors. Is it possible for water to "knock off" your trichomes? Yes. It is indeed "possible" but very unlikely. The only rain issue with cannabis is during flower and the only concern you should have is keeping an eye out for rot. As mentioned above one very very important and yet super simple method to prevent rot is to go out two or three times during a rainy day and shake your limbs as to shed water from within the buds or pooling around them. Do this again after the rain stops. I realize some of your plants are giants, yes I spend hours sometimes shaking my trees. It's worth it! It gets cold and rainy here by nature but I can assure you if you are with your plants every day and keep a close eye on them it should never be an issue. If you do see the rot in time just remove that bud or even that branch not the entire plant. During the last two weeks while you are flushing you can add a sugar if anything. I happen to use molasses to increase resin production.
