Thanks for all the input guys much appreciated..One love keep it growing
Fuck all that meth talk lolLol nah I can't afford it let alone give it to my plants
Without a predisposition to purpling, a given strain cannot be induced to turn purple. Certain strains will have more naturally occurring anthocyanins than others, and when switching to the “winter” cycle of flowering, will start to express those purple pigments innately according to their genetic predisposition interacting with the unique chemical and environmental factors in which the plant is grown.Lest we not forget that green is the most efficient colour and any other colours reduce that. Anthrocyanin can be simply classed as an osmoregulator and is present in many higher plants.
You lost me there but cyanidin can form a lot of different similar structured compounds and colours not just anthocyanin and most higher scientific institutes would isolate each and give meaning to their production.Without a predisposition to purpling, a given strain cannot be induced to turn purple. How long have you been growing? You lost me there but cyanidin can form a lot of different similar structured compounds and colours not just anthocyanin and most higher scientific institutes would isolate each and give meaning to their production.
If someone has managed to breed a colour you need only cite the name of such compound not state the anthocyanin debate
Longer and better than the sun ...just ask himHow long have you been growing?

Here's some purple bud Jimmy, keep your temps at 64 during dark period, and keep the ice in your cocktails! good luckHey guys seeing if anyone else in here has had any luck adding ice to their pots in flower to give the buds a purple color..I’m now in like day 50 something of flower and have been doing this for several days out of the week but it doesn’t seem to be affecting the color much. All I’m getting is the yellowing towards the end..I do feel it has made the nugs denser but that’s about it.
Nice my brother had a black cream auto that was grown outside and left till it was pretty chilly and it looked just like that..View attachment 4294024 Here's some purple bud Jimmy, keep your temps at 64 during dark period, and keep the ice in your cocktails! good luck
The forbidden tree that eve took that apple from and gave to adam, well that wasnt no apple tree that was my first grow and it wasnt fucking god that kicked them out of the garden of eden thats for sure....How long have you been growing?
I had a real black strain - finished pure green, nothing like breeders pictureNice my brother had a black cream auto that was grown outside and left till it was pretty chilly and it looked just like that..
Just as I thought, no answer to my question. The forbidden tree that eve took that apple from and gave to adam, well that wasnt no apple tree that was my first grow and it wasnt fucking god that kicked them out of the garden of eden thats for sure....
But yes sorry i feel i complicated the quesrltion.
- If we know that anthicyanin is transient and a stress signal then why would it turn up as a peremenant feature in weed flower if there were no stress or cold temps.... these strains must use stuff other than anthocyanin and at that point genetic.
I understand why a water laden fruit of plum or grape might use anthocyanin as protection but weed - im not as versed there and if we had a simple colour trait why nit lets turn every strain purple
i didnt understand your last question, was a little vague but you still got a response of which you elected to ignore and produce troll bait for meJust as I thought, no answer to my question.
I do agree it is a sign of stress.Just feel it was worth the experiment. All I wanted was some purple tint is that to much to ask for?
I probably should just ignore you now and avoid the Christmas rushi didnt understand your last question, was a little vague but you still got a response of which you elected to ignore and produce troll bait for me
