Yeah laugh all you like, it's not even close to being funny to me, the Maltese have been smoking crap for fucking ages, simply because being such a small island our market is not relevant internationally. So most people see it as too much hassle to try and get large amounts...which is really understandable coz it's not worth the jail time... So we get hash that is probably like 10% pure, we even had some that literally caught fire when you burnt it to get it to crumble, it's terrible. So probably if i do rip a fat ass bong of that shit i'll pull it right off and smile at your camera. Pisses me off that people that are so much used to smoking high quality cannabis that it soooo much for granted. You really have no idea how beautiful it feels to manage to get something REALLY honestly good over here...

No. That piece of vegetation looks green to me. Just keep and eye on the nodes, and when the pistils appear you WILL know. The are unmistakeable. They are white. Don't ever take clones/cuttings after you have switched to 12/12 to flower, if you do, your clone/cutting has to revert back to the veg stage and flipping the switch like that could shock it into sex-reversal...after you veg the clone and switch it back to 12/12 to flower, it could reappear as a male. Don't ever trim the plant for the sake of trimming it. The large fan leaves are needed for breaking down sugars and other metabolic functions. It is common for the older, lower leaves of the plant to turn yellow at one point. They are just old and/or are too low on the plant for the light to reach sufficiently; they will fall off by themselves. (I saw earlier in the post you mentioned trimming. Not sure if you meant trimming or cloning). Anyway, hope this helps.
yeah i did mention trimming and i meant trimming not cloning. When is the ideal time to make some cuttings without causing too much harm? I know I can do that just before I start flowering but honestly i have no idea how long that's gonna be. Plant is 6 and a half weeks old and about 1.5 feet tall. I can't wait to switch to HPS coz i have no idea how this huge difference in growth presents itself, this being my very first time growing and all. I don't mean in the sense that they'll grow more when on HPS but about developing flowers instead of just more and more foliage - which is all i've seen yet

You are looking at stipules not hairs. And all that foliage is whats going to energize and drive big nug growth. Dont trim fan leaves.....

The latest picture you showed was not a pistil, it's part of the vegetation.
The following picture shows the part you pointed to in your last picture with another part very close to that part showing an actual pistil.

The bottom arrow is pointing to the vegetation and the top arrow is pointing to a pistil.
My latest plant didn't show pre-flowers (pistils) until day 49 of vegetation so don't get jumpy with the sexing just yet. As an additional comment, that part you showed last, it's all twisted. That's a very clear indication of a stressor at work. Since I'm not there to see the set up I'm going to guess that it's a light, heat, nutrient or water issue and suggest that you may want to recheck your set up or methodologies if node vegetation continues to look like that with new growth. Genetics may play a role as well and there's nothing you can do about that.
If you find that new node growth looks straight and your plant isn't giving new indication of stress then keep doing what your doing. Don't trim your leaves unless their 50% dead already, it causes stress and can result in hermaphroditic growth and no one wants a hermie in their garden.

Then you sir, need some education on plant morphology.
His plant is not showing signs of sex yet, both male and female plants have the part he's singling out. Refer to my last post in this thread to see what you should be looking for in a female plant.
Guys now I really am confused, after another 12 hours in the dark, my plant seems to be sprouting more of these female-looking pre-flowers. Coz they're greenish white with several hints of new hairs coming out of them...I'll post some new pics tomorrow, so they'll be better developed to determine for sure that it's a girl

If you were counting on a single plant to assist you on to your feet then you had high hopes, a male isn't the worst that can happen so think of it as a minor set back.
You got a plant this far with little issues so do it again, this time do 5-10 up in party cups and clone for sex in 6 weeks, by week 8 (seedling for 2 weeks, main plant in veg for 6 weeks and clones in flower for 2 weeks you should be able to have 1 or 2 that are wimminz and you can cull the rest.
