Does my light need raising?

Hey guys. Wrapping up this round and am seeing some gorgeous colors. Problem is they're only really at the top and the leaves dying so much quicker than what's below is leading me to believe that the lights may be a bit too close perhaps? They're currently at 14" or so but maybe I should try 24" for the whole run?

I get a server error message when trying to upload pics so I'll try again in a bit.
I realize there's not much to talk about without them. Lol.

In the last photo there are some leaves tacco'ing & clawing upwards. Looks like the lights are to close or to high a wattage per cob. Plants can't keep up. Are some of those leaves that are clawing up going crispy?
How many cxb's is the 1100w spread over & what's your ec?

I always reduce lighting intensity near the end. I do it incrementally by dimming ballasts. I also reduce temperature, CO2 levels and feed PPM incrementally.

Too much light in the end can cause foxtailing and fluffy buds.

I always have crispy leaves in the end because I have eliminated nitrogen from the feed and make the plants consume the nitrogen from their fan leaves. As long as the sugar leaves aren't affected it's ok.

4X8. Ya they're crispy.

I’ve had this happen before. It’s essentially to much wattage at the height your lights are hanging. Plant tries to keep up with the light intensity, fails & starts to go crispy. Providing you have a high enough ec your plants can handle quite a lot of light intensity but there becomes a point when they just can’t consume enough to keep up with the amount of light they are receiving or worse still they end up with some sort of lockout.

On the bright side this appears to have happened right near the end of your run with these plants so probably has not caused that much loss to your yield.

The most I’ve ever used is a 2x4 is 400w over 8xCXB’s & that was more than enough.

I know you said you are running 1100w, how many cobs is that spread between?

You could also try to get your plants to drink more by tweaking environment, whats your upper cannopy temp/rh @Airwalker16
