Does molasses have to be organic?

Hey guys i'm using plantation black strap molasses, i thought it would be organic no matter what, i dunno if it is or not but the bottle does not say organic, is this cuz the label was changed or does plantation sell both types??? i bought some blackstrap from a health food store the other day and now i'm worried that cuz there's a possibility it's not organic, the stuff is unsulphured though also says on the side of the bottle " some foam at the top is normal for this crude molasses" crude.. derrr does that make it organic??? lol . thanx guys any help would be appreciated, also i've heard of flushing with it.. does that mean i literally drop my amount in with the water, mix and then flush with that mixture? or is there something i'm missing on that one?

seeing molasses is processed some states would not consider it organic. blackstrap unsulphred is the best. It contains the most goodies for your soil and is the 3rd and final product in grades of molasses from what i have read. plantation is great stuff I have found and fed my soil nicely. good luck with your grow!!

sorry i didnt see the second half. i would flush with plain water. although minimal it does have iron, magnesium, and copper i believe. I add it to my nutrients and often in my waters inbetween nutrients as it is a great buffer and feeds your soil after a nutrient dose. Highly recommend and i have found you cant really overdue it i usually add a table spoon per gallon in my res. good luck!
