Does it matter what brand of bulb for 1000w fixture???

Hello and thanks to all for viewing. I just got a mh and hps capable fixture off ebay that came with a metal halide and high pressure sodium bulb. i guess it will work fine for now but is there any real difference in these regular bulbs compared to like one of the super blue hortilux or any other really nice hortilux bulbs??? I want to get a few of these eventually but does it really matter. btw i have about six plants right now, maybe adding like 2 more. In a closet about 5x5

I just recently had both of my digital ballasts fry within a week. ordered 2 more cheapies and within 2 hours one of them fried. So i gave in and bought two lumateks and started doing research. come to find out some european built bulbs are built under different specs than american and shouldn't be used. in fact alot of bulbs aren't made for digital at all. So since i just bought 2 lumateks i called them and they said the only name brand bulb they dont recomend for their ballasts are hortilux. They recomended ushio their brand they just came out with and a few others that i cant remember. Hope all this is helpful in some way

Don´t use lights a lot, but that´s why I use a magnetic ballast - just a huge inductance - nothing to go wrong - no semiconductors to FRY !!!!!!
