i count the nodes i go 4 then fim it grows more fim again
what you did will work ok looks like 3 sets of nodes to grow up WP_000083.jpg

you pretty much cant fuck up topping a plant. cut it anywhere at the stem and it will split. but you did it perfect. how often you top it is up to you. i usually top every couple weeks but it depends on the speed of the plant growth. i would wait till you get a few new nodes from that before you think about topping it again.

I think I stunted the growth of my plants (from seedlings) by topping too much/ too early. Don't take much from that because it's still my first grow, but if I could go back I would have waited longer before the first top and also longer between each tops. Other than that, I don't think you can mess up where you top or how many times (total) you can top.
