somebody smack me into place if I'm wrong, but I think it's fine to LST during flowering. LST - low stress training, emphasis on the low stress. if all you're doing is bending branches around, I don't think that's gonna mess with your flowering time

Ty i was worried about decreased yield and flower time bc it freezes usally right after halloween here i want them cool toward end of flower bc this strain of bagseed turns dark purple and green almost black and taste like blueberry did

I do it all the time. Sometimes, you'll get a tall one and just want to conceal it better by bending it over.
I think it can actually increase your yields.

I too lst my plants during flowering all the time, I've yet to see any problems caused by this, if anything, as said, it gives you a higher yield.

Anytime you stress your plants it 'slightly' retards the growth it was having before you stressed it and takes some time to catch back up.. not by weeks, but by hours/days.

The plant has to put some energy into redirecting growth and redeveloping new patterns. It will still continue to grow vigorously and produce at this point too, but not 100% of it's mojo will be focused on growing as some of it will be re-tweaking.

It's minimal time wasted and 'usually' the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages if you find a situation you need to do it late in flower.

Those are my thoughts anyway.. prone to change on a moments notice..

I agree with 333maxwell, I think it has a slight slow down, but the advantages outweigh the negatives.

I lst from very early right up to nearly week two of flower.
I don't top, I just lst with a bit of supper cropping.

i have always found the largest two colas I get, come from the main/top branch and the very first branch from the base, that grows out in the opposite direction of the main one.

The first pic is day one of 12/12, I will give it one more good lst in a few days, to get a nice even canopy, then I'll leave her alone.

If they need to be bent they need to be bent.

I hung some lead weights on a one week in flower OG Kush yesterday and may hang a couple more on today, no biggie.

I accidentally snapped a stem on another plant taped it up it was all good a day later.

So long as what your doing is Low Stress, you shouldn't have more than a momentary slow down, then back up to speed.

I'm starting to see they all 1-2 inches tall now and fan leaves are coming in and the calyxes are starting to get bigger i just started like 10 brick seeds and a og seed I'm going to mix a branch with one of thhe biggest fastest growing brick plant so i can get some potent seeds.
