Does everyone go 24 on and 0 off for clones or any 18/6?

I have tried both ways. What I found is: plants grow at night (without light). Any additional growth one might get is negligible

I do 18/6 in my flower tent but I only have 2 timers, so in my closet, where I start my clones, I run a t5 ho 24hours.... my clones love it, 100%rooted

You flower on 18/6?
sorry about that haha. I am VERY new. I dont flower at 18/6.... I should not have called it my flower tent. I am flowering in it right now but I just flipped them to 12/12. They were vegging in my 4'x8'x6' at 18/6 because it just made much more sense. I was having heat problems/cut out 6 hours of heat.... I was worried about costly electricity/cut 6 hours of that off.

i always veg at 24/0, then switch straight to 12/12 for flowering. i usually only veg for 2 weeks from clone before throwing them into flower, and i usually end up with just under 2 ounces a plant with a 600w hps. i've never had a problem or hermie with this method, but i can't say which is better for sure because i haven't tried 18/6 in years.

I have been doing 24/0 but I wonder if there is another way for vegging clones. Thanks.
I get a better sucess rate with clones under 24/0. If you can take plenty of clones and dont need perfect sucess rates 18/6 should work fine though.

I throw them in my veg room

so 18/6 or 16/8

I`ve used 12/12 and 24/0 for clones both work

some people say to leave them in the dark for 1 to 4 days so they can root up a bit before being exposed to light as that causes them to dry up

I just never expect to have 100% of them take so I don`t work too hard over them

Like if its much more hassle then a seed, unless its a plant I`m really taken with I won`t go to tons of trouble

Some rooting gel, a slab of rock wall and a tray with a lid, 20c to 30c and rh 40 to 60% seems to work fine, some rooting feed too

mostly how well they take depends on how well you take them and the health of the mother, some boosters really make plants cuttings root a lot easier

like evaponics Mother kare or plant elixir steroids... plants fed that act like ga3 fed plants a bit, they grow straight up and have more internodal spacing, easy to cut easy to root up

once they are rooted I feed a little seaweed or triacontanol to get them to go more bushey if needed... actually swapped out a 600mh (in a cool tube) running at 400w for a 300w 5000k induction lamp (in a home made baking tray reflector) the other day, looking forward to see what that does to my vegging plants and clones
