Yeah I tried that and several others. Just get a dehumidifier for the night hours. Make sure to get a good one do reviews first.

Really? Anyone else heard anything about this stuff? Or anything else to get my RH down, except for dehumidifier? I'll get a dehumidifier if I have to but where my grow is the RH starts to drop in the next month or 2 due to cold weather and I don't really want to spend $ on one for just a little use; on a budget right now

If your RH will drop in a month and you haven't even started flower....why are you asking this question lol, I feel like you successfully answered yourself in that you don't need anything

Actually I'm waiting to put into 12/12 whenever I can get my RH in check, their really ready to flower now, I'm just prolonging it. Waiting an extra month or so to bloom will give me some diesel ass plants, whitch would dominate my grow room

In the past when I was in flower I always had 20%-45% RH so my experience is limited in regards to RH in flowering

What would be the Max acceptable RH level in bloom as not to give me any problems; I.e. bud rot, PM ect...?

IMO constant 60% is the max. Obviously there will be deviation, and most aim for 45% +/-10, but I feel as long as you keep it under 65% most of the time and have constant airflow you will be good. Clean out the undergrowth, less bushy strains ala more sativa leaning will be your best bet

Its winter though, so mimic nature. Less humidity is telling the plant that its time to get its life cycle over

Damprid is extremely effective, in a very small area...you could get it to work, but I think it would take ALOT of the stuff to take the RH of that sized room down enough to be worth it....It spends itself rapidly as it pulls moisture from the air.
During the freelance mycology phase, before the turn of the century, I used Damprid to dry mushies….

I dont have option for damprid since we dont have it here in europe but i have option for calcium chloride tablet dehumidifier which I think is te same thing as damprid is calcium chloride..
Just dont know will moleculas from that chloride effect on my plant bad somehow?

I wouldn’t want to put damp rid in my grow room unless maybe you can get it without the deodorizer. If possible put a space heater in there that will burn humidity off quickly, so long as you don’t let things get too hot.

I’m using the 2.2kg damprid bucket in my 3x3. Having dramas with temps of 23-29C and humidity anywhere from 60-80%. And I’ve found it doesn’t do much. But here in Australia we have some full on weather.
