does australia smoke green weed?

A friend of mine recently went to australia, she said while she was there a friend offered her some brown weed, shes like sure whatever i want some f-ing weed.

Smokes it, turns out it has tobbaco mixed in? She's like WTF this is nasty, then they said "oh your from america, you like yours green and pure.".......uh yeah yeah we do.

So my question to those in australia, did she have some crazy friends? She litterally smoked with 20 or so different people over the span of a month. She didnt get it without tobacco once in melbourne. She said they would buy it green but mix it at the user level.

Is this the norm over there?

Yes that is completely normal in Australia, especially in Melbourne. Some Aussies smoke it green in some places like Adelaide but most mix it with tobbacco. Im not sure exactly why but it has always been done like that for as long as I have known, people who smoke it green in Australia are the odd ones out and I have not met many people in oz that smoke it green.

nah its called wacky backy,the reason being if you stack sum backy on top of your pipe and smoke it,you will get a bit more of a sudden high,lol just try it,you prolly wont look back,after a while the more green you smoke the more amune you become,so the wacky backy gives ya that bit more of a buzz!!!:) and yer for those that havnt relised what im talkin about, i mean mixing tobaco from cigies,rollies ect with your weed before lighting.

i'm not from australia but thats the norm over here in england, and i think most of europe as well, but i prefer just weed some people i smoked with put loads of baccy in which makes it nasty.

Its never bought already mixed with tobacco so its green buds when you get it but when its chopped up to smoke people will mix anywhere from 1-2 cigarettes per gram. We smoke out of bongs and dont roll joints to often so the tobacco in the mix gives more of a head rush after pulling a cone.

If you haven't tried it then you should and the other bonus is that the mix lasts longer as well :-P

^^^^^^ i haven't put tobacco in a bong before, does it make it more sedated though, don't know where i got that from just what i always thought

It actually makes it smoother (aslong as theres not too much tobacco in it) so all cones are pulled through and smoked in one breath leaving nothing in the cone and no smoke in the chamber and you with a nice head rush.

i find the right ammount of tobacco to be 1/4 of what you put in the bowl.

i mix em in a little christmas ornament of an angel..basically shaped like a bell. mixing it like this has seemed to get the two (weed an bacco) mixed evenly though im sure you can do it with a bowl or even on a flat surface..the key though is to make it spread evenly. this ,somehow to me and im sure to others, mellows out the hit to be smoother.

ive even noticed it helps me taste the strain im smoking better as i can use the tobacco to differentiate any other flavors i may be tasting. it just basically offsets what the pot tastes like due to the standard tobacco taste.

I'm from melbourne and i've never mixed with tobacco i've had people want to do it in a cigarette made joint but i objected.

Its funny, I'm really agaisnt cigarette smoking but love weed haha.

I was speaking a fairly experienced guy and he asked how much tobacco i use and i said none he was like woah man i love it when we decide not to put tobacco in it.

Weirdos.

fuck yeah +1 to that.

pot doesn't cause cancer, therefore I like to keep the two separate. I've never tried tobacco and I never plan to, the polonium-210 keeps me away ;). I'll stick to the non-radioactive cancer curing pot thank you :)

in I:weed:reland it is common practice also but id disagree with 1-2 cigs per gram ,
id usually put a full cigerette's worth of tobbaco into a big joint.. 3 skins long,and into that about 1.2 grams weed...plus if i had enough weed lets say i had an ounce id smoke pure all the time just depends.. if you have an 8th mixin a lil tobaco in your joints makes the bag last a hell of a lot longer.:leaf:

imho the correct ratio for tobacco : cannabis is 0 : 100
